Beautifully renovated Guest House. Would highly recommended. We stayed in the Ely room for two nights and made use of the outside garden area in the evenings, which was lovely. Martin was very welcoming and breakfast was exceptional. We walked down to the pub at the windmill which was nice. I’m only sorry that we didn’t read the Welcome book till we were packing to leave (husband thought it was an ornamental book!) because it’s very informative about the village, where to eat etc but also goes into the history of the house. Everything was 5 star. Thankyou

Belle Vue Guest House is simply the best guesthouse I have ever stayed in. The rooms are extremely comfortable and spacious with easy chairs for you to relax in; luxurious bedding and first-rate ensuite bathrooms. There is a beautiful veranda to relax on and an Honesty Bar, where you can buy a bottle of wine, a beer or two or even a gin and tonic. All the staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfasts are superb. I would highly recommend a stay there to anyone.

Can only repeat what numerous other reviewers have written, so suffice to say, if you want somewhere to stay that's nice, clean and cosy with excellent hosts and a lovely breakfast, book the Belle Vue... ! We hope to return next time we're in that area.

We had a fantastic short stay at Belle Vue. We had the Sandringham Room and enjoyed the space, view across to the church and decor, additionally we found the room to be blissfully quiet which ensured a good nights sleep. Breakfast was superb and the choices were very impressive. Martin and the staff were wonderful. If you have come across the Belle Vue site by chance, as we did, don’t hesitate to book. We intend to return and will look forward to it.

What a lovely find this place was! I have recommended it to all my friends and family! Martyn just couldn’t be any kinder and welcoming. The room was lovely with sumptuous bedding and towels. Beautiful outside area to sit and drink a wine from the honesty bar and listen to the birds. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious! I really, really hope I get to go back again! Thank you Martyn and Lou!

Just returned from a 3 night stay at the exceptional Belle Vue guest house. The whole stay provided everything a guest could wish for. Free parking with a clean and welcoming house on arrival with a pretty and functional outdoor space. Lovely spacious room with a comfy bed and all the facilities that you would expect. Breakfast selection was requested the evening before. All food and drinks were of a high quality and generous. Martyn is an extremely friendly and helpful host. A perfect holiday base.

Just enjoyed a superb overnight stay at Belle Vue. The host made us feel very welcome and the property oozes quality and comfort. Much thought and care has gone into refurbishing the building and restoring it to its former glory. Every aspect of the stay: the room; service; and breakfast; all five star and first class. Highly recommended and fabulous value for money!!
