Belle Vue Guest House

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at the Belle Vue. What a fabulous place! The stunning Georgian house is beautifully styled and decorated and stands in a small but pretty garden with an elegant outdoor terrace. We stayed in the Nottingham room which was extremely comfortable and stylish and had every amenity that you could need. The bed, the linens, the furnishings and the bathroom were all luxurious. The refreshment tray was topped up daily with complementary teas, coffees, water and cookies. In the dining room there was a selection of very reasonably priced beers and wines that could be purchased via an honesty box. The real highlight of our stay, however, was the breakfast! A fantastic choice of cold and hot dishes, all prepared to order. We have stayed in a number of Michelin-starred restaurants with rooms and rarely have the breakfasts come up to the standard offered here. Martyn was a perfect host. If you are thinking of taking a break in beautiful Norfolk, this is definitely the place to stay.

The Belle Vue guesthouse is an absolute jewel. It does not merely deserve 5 stars as a guesthouse it deserves them in absolute terms as a hotel. The building itself is handsome and beautifully restored and maintained. The welcome and helpfulness from Martin was really wonderful and he could not have been more accommodating . Nothing was too much for him. The guesthouse itself was spotless and supremely comfortable. Honestly I stumbled upon Belle Vue as it was at a convenient breakpoint in our two week cycle tour. This serendipity has given us a highlight of the trip. If you too have stumbled across this property then congratulations. Now make your reservation.

Our stay at The Bell Vue proved to be an absolutely amazing find, a true gem housed within a beautifully and tastefully renovated 300-year-old property. From our initial inquiry to our warm greeting, the correspondence was consistently excellent, and our host was incredibly informative upon our arrival, making us feel instantly welcome. The rooms themselves were impeccably clean, well-stocked with everything one could possibly need for a comfortable couple of nights' stay. However, it was the breakfast that truly surpassed all expectations, offering an extremely high standard and a great menu to choose from – a culinary delight that set a perfect tone for the day. We couldn't fault a single aspect of this charming establishment. We would highly recommend The Bell Vue to anyone seeking exceptional quality and service, and we will undoubtedly be using it again on our next visit.

Stopped over on the way to somewhere else, but so glad we did. Excellent b&b. Spotless and beautiful bedroom. Lovely food, cooked to order. Plenty of space for parking and quiet location. Would highly recommend.

This beautifully restored house is a comfortable and well appointed place to stay. The room had all the amenities you could ask for and the breakfast was individually tailored to our requirements.

The welcome was very friendly and informative. Room very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was 10/10 . All in all an excellent place to stay. We will definitely use again.
