The rooms immediately smelled musty and of mildew. The bathroom had mold in it. All over the shower curtain and in the shower. You could literally see water that was dripping from the ceiling and down the walls. There was garbage and dead bugs under the bed and couch. You could see where water was leaking from under the sink. There was filth all over the walls and the lamps. Broken furniture. When this was brought to the managers attention he stated we are a 2 star hotel not a 5 star hotel. He was kind enough to refund us our room because we wanted to leave asap.

The room was very reasonable rate and clean the main desk was very pleasant The continental breakfast wasn’t huge but it was very good. If I ever visit Denison Iowa again this is for sure the hotel I was staying at we were greatly surprised and very blessed
