Llangollen Hostel Self-Catering

a real gem Jamie was so great he made us felt so welcome ,and explain every thing lovely man ,the place is great smells so lovely every where ,and so very very clean ,our room was so clean really comfy slept the best ,and great wet room ,we had ground floor with double bed and bunk bed , the tea tray had so much on it ,the kitchen was great had every thing you need ,and plenty of room for people to eat again so clean ,the lounge was comfy and clean ,we stayed at many hotels but this was so good stay and cleaner and smelt nice than any one we stayed in and such good families ,would go back if in the area again thank you ,oh and get the parking ticket from them to save a lot of money and very quite their ,no tv but was nice not to have it xx

Llangollen hostel is outstanding in many ways. The hostel is located in an ideal location close to the town centre. We had two rooms at the top of the building which were immaculately clean, had comfortable beds and with access to a spotless bathroom with a great shower. The communal areas were fantastic - a well - equipped and organised kitchen and dining space; and a comfortable homely living room with books, games and a guitar. Booking; communications and check in/out were very efficiently handled by Jamie the manager of the hostel. Staying at the hostel was exceptionally good value for money - cheaper than all the other hotels/b & b's we used that week (whilst walking on the Offas Dyke Path), but of higher standard than most. Llangollen itself is delightful.

Recently stayed here, booking a double and a twin room. Comfortable, very clean, and a warm welcome. Extremely close to town centre. Parking behind the hostel in the town carpark - car park pass provided - thanks. Free tea, coffee and milk provided in the shared kitchen, lovely lounge - Would highly recommend 👌

Beautiful little hostel. Very clean! Just perfect. We stayed as a family visiting family and the value for money was amazing. Jamie was great texting and making sure we had or needed anything. Will definitely be back when in the area. Thank you! Also a shop opposite which is so handy!!!!

The accommodation was excellent. Great location, fantastic facilities and the communication and service from the staff was spot on. Pound-for-pound this is one of the best places I’ve stayed in the world. If you’re looking for something cheap and cheerful in a beautiful setting, I would highly recommend Llangollen Hostel.

Perfect base for activities and exploring around LLangollen. Our room (no 6) was a lovely big attic room. The bed was really comfy, shower was good, fridge for beers and a lovely view of the mountains. Jaime was also really helpful, letting us know early on arrival day that our room was ready so we could get there earlier than planned and fully enjoy our weekend. Also really convenient having the car park right behind us through a code locked door. Will definitely return.
