What a fun place to stay. Rustic cabins were delightful. Peaceful, relaxing and enjoyable. Took the short hike to lake’s edge. Played checkers in the lodge. Lots of stars to see at night. What a nice getaway! Highly recommend the Grand Mesa Lodge.

I'm not sure if it gets much better then this! My 2nd time staying here. First time in the Winter, this time in the early part of fall- the scenery on the way to this place coming from either direction is breathtaking. Then you get to your cabin, overlooking a few ponds. There is direct TV if your heart desires- but there is nothing like the smell of fresh air while taking a walk on this property! Thank you Grand Mesa Lodge for a great stay!

Cabin had no step to get into it and a huge rock at the entrance to step over. Bathroom not very clean and towels were very old. Needs an upgrade. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. Restaurant was good but minimal selections.

My brother and I spent a couple of nights in a cabin, it brought back a lot of memories from our childhood because we used to stay there decades ago. The cabin was very clean, everything worked great, beds were comfy, plenty of warm blankets, and the staff at the lodge could not be friendlier or more helpful. We had an absolutely wonderful time!

Absolutely a beautiful, remote location if you are looking to get away. We stayed in a one bedroom cabin that had everything you need. Beware these are not luxury cabins, most everything about it was old and dated. The bedroom was upstairs and the stairs were very steep without much of a railing and is a loft kind of set up with angled ceilings with the beds tucked under the angles. However, we were there to enjoy the outdoors and this place met every need. We made use of the fire pit and outdoor chair, used the basic kitchen to prepare a few meals, and mostly enjoyed the scenery. We got pizza at the lodge one day, it was okay but quite convenient to have the lodge for a few basic necessities as there is nothing else in the area.

I stayed here for four nights to do some trail riding and fishing. I snowmobile up on the Grand Mesa a lot in the winter and always wanted to come up in the summer. After reading reviews on the other lodges in the area and talking with them, I settled in on Grand Mesa Lodge. So glad I did. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Absolutely LOVED my cabin and the location. I had a fantastic trip and can't wait to go back. Great job staff. I travel all over Colorado very much and have stayed at dozens of lodges over my 40 years here. Some have been very disappointing and make you feel like you are bothering them by staying at their lodge. Thank you so much Grand Mesa Lodge for making me feel so welcome. Keep up the great work. I will be back often!!
