posted a review back in May of 2024 stating how much I enjoyed this place. I just returned from another trip June 2025. Enjoyed it just as much and found that they have updated the rooms. I had to switch rooms mid trip because my arrival dates changed so I was in two. The bathrooms in both rooms were redone and everything was updated in my second room. New furniture throughout. The exteriors as always were clean and updated. Pool was warm. Beach was great. Always a cabana available. I do go off season so I don't know how it is high season. Staff always friendly and accommodating. They give you a text number if you need anything such as ice, towels etc. And they get right on your request. Publix grocery and Target are literally a 3 minute drive. All the restaurants in town are 5 minutes. Download the Florida parking app to make things easy. This is a nice quiet condominium efficiancy type place in a prime location. As long as you are comfortable with this type of accommodation and not expecting a fancy hotel with all the bells and whistles you will enjoy it.

I hate to write a bad review but I don’t wish anyone else to have the experience that I had. I ended up with bedbug bites. I’m 63 and traveled to many places and never had this happen to me. We stayed 4 nights here and after the first night I had bites on the backs of my arms. I thought at first it was mosquitoes since we ate dinner outside. But each morning I had more bites on my arms and lower back that turned into huge welts by the time we left. I googled what bedbug bites look like and that’s definitely what I had. The itching was so intense and it took about ten days for the bites to heal. The rooms are very dated with old furniture.

Berkshires on the Ocean is a hidden gem. The rooms are a bit outdated, however, they are kept very clean and in the process of updating. The rooms have a sitting area with pull out couch, small kitchenette with dishwasher and stove, bathroom and decent sized bedroom. A couple friends and I went for a long weekend and had a room on the 2nd floor which had a view of the ocean. We never felt like we were fighting for space. The hotel had a pool, putting green and tables to relax in the commons area. There was private access to the beach where cabanas were on a first come first serve. However, beach chairs were also available from the front desk. I can not say enough about how accommodating and friendly the staff was. If you needed something, they brought it immediately. The famous Atlantic Ave. where all the shops, bars and restaurants are was only a 2 mile walk away down Ocean Blvd. If you didn't want to walk that far, a short walk over the bridge leads you to stores and other places to eat. It is a place I would definitely go back to and highly recommend.

Spent 4 days at this fabualous hotel with some friends. Although an older establishment, they are in the process of updating. The rooms were spacious and clean with a convenient kitchenette. The grounds and pool were well maintained and steps from the beach. It is conveniently located, only 2 miles from downtown (Atlantic Ave), where you'll find a variety of fabulous restaurants, bars, and shops. Although check out was at 10 am, and our flight wasn't until 4 pm, we still had access to the grounds, pool, and restroom. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating throughout our stay! I absolutely recommend this hotel and will return soon!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Berkshire on the Ocean in Delray Beach, Florida. The location is awesome, right on the beach and convenient to all of Delray. Our second floor room had a spectacular view of the ocean, and included a wide entry area with lounge chairs and a table and chairs. We will return to this location.

Great access to uncrowded beach. Resort is old but functional. They are giving it a face lift with painting. Customer service was excellent!

Great location. Communicate with the front desk via text. Pool on site. Sits directly on the Atlantic Ocean. Great stretches of sand to walk. Atlantic Avenue is lined with shops and restaurants. Flag 3 beach. Kitchen is small but well stocked with utensils and appliances. Our king sized bed was comfortable. Very hot outside, the AC works well. Also had ceiling fans. Beach towel service. chairs , loungers and umbrellas already set up on beach. Easy Peasy!

Oceanfront. Small pool and putting green. Quiet area. You either need to bring your own food or drive to restaurants as there is not much in walking distance. Best for adults. Beach was not crowded. Units have everything you need including a full kitchen. The property is a timeshare but we were able to stay for a couple of nights. Morikami is only about 15-20 minutes away.
