Sunbright Inn

A fantastic experience, this is probably the best done remodeled home I’ve ever seen. The home has a deep sense of history pouring from every corner. The attention to detail is impressive! Slightly more expensive than nearby competitors, but worth the extra expense for high-end quality like this!

A truly remarkable experience!! Upon entering the property, you go through a coded gate. The front door is coded as well as your room. Very safe! As soon as I walked in the front door, I was greeted with beautiful classical music, the fireplace on, and hallway with chocolates. The Magnolia room was a dream! I am gluten free and the owners greeted me with a welcome letter and gluten free blueberry muffin. There is a refrigerator and microwave with coffee station for your use. A blessing from God from start to finish!! I recommend bringing earplugs if you are not used to road noise as it is next to an intersection. Overall 5 stars!! Very peaceful, heaven on earth, and the owners clearly know how to go about and beyond. A must stay!! Thank you

Absolutely stunning Inn! The owners have spared no expense in the remodel. The common areas are comfortable with beautiful furnishings. Our room was the Loblolly which was in the back of the Inn on the bottom floor. We loved the furnishings with the dark woods and green colors. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room had a small fridge and coffee station to blend in with the room. Upon arrival we were greeted with the music playing and a tray on the bed with a welcome letter and muffins for the morning. Loved the black out curtains! It was a romantic evening with dinner at Iron and Grape (a must visit). There were other guests at the Inn but heard nothing but a little road noise. Thank you for a lovely visit-we will return to Defuniak and stay here again!!

If you are reading this book now I booked this hotel for my wife on her trip to see her sons and she absolutely loved it. The owners were friendly and everything was immaculate. Definitely plan to return in the future.

We booked one night only because we had commitments elsewhere. The entire experience was a shockingly wonderful surprise. From the elegant furnishings, comfortable bedding and old fashioned hospitality. We will certainly return to spend more here and around town. We highly recommend Sunbright Inn. Come and be impressed.
