We stayed at bunkhouse #2 - two queen beds. The bunk house is a motel type accommodation. Easy entry, quiet at night. Quant western themed rooms, with comfy beds and wonderful western decor and appointments. My friend and I were picking up a mare and colt that we purchased in the area. We chose to stay here as we love to sit outside in the morning, drinking our coffee and watching the horse trailers pull in for an Event, and catch some entertaining horse and people watching. There is always plenty of room to park a truck and trailer, and the atmosphere is a horse lovers must. There are plenty of corrals, overnight barn and pens and RV plug ins. Next time we will stay with horses and use the awesome facility or take a clinic! We always shop the NRS store after we check out, and be prepared to drop a few hundred dollars as there are clothes and equipment that you cannot find anywhere else. We choose this over any of the hotels in Decatur. The room has a small fridge, and check out the desk; if you open the drawer there are all kinds of interesting books. Especially a curiosity of a diary/visitor log book, where entries are made by those that have stayed, including the younger cowboys/cowgirls with their special sketches. Note: walls are thin between the rooms (so please respect the quiet time), and the hot water takes the time of a cup of coffee to heat up.
