Arriving at 6 p.m., we rang the bell after looking for a while (one-way dead end, no parking, no clear sign): no answer, we called several times: no answer. As we were tired, we went to the superb Mercure Hotel nearby. We were heading to our room, around 7 p.m., when the owner of Panzio called us. He was not friendly and refused to refund us. We don't know what the inside of this pension is like, on the 1st floor of a building that doesn't look like much. But we are very happy to have avoided it, even if the Mercure cost us 40 euros more! We have already slept in other pensions in Debrecen, such as the Centrum Panzio, at the same price.
