We could not be more disappointed in the hotel. The room is tiny as is the bathroom. We are in one of their nicest rooms. I would had to see a standard room. The front desk staff was professional and nice but it stopped there. The concierge was grumpy and acted like he was doing me a favor. We had a snack and drink in the bar which is a nice spot. Also, the hotel is not on the beach as advertised. We would never stay here again.

The Hotel Barrière Royal Deauville is a real Grandhotel with the perfect service. From check in to check out the hotel you get a perfect, unset service as guest. Quality of food at breakfast of high quality. Restaurant like a large ballroom in warm colours and views towards the beach. Outdoor pool with service and very good beds. Sauna and steam bath small but renewed. Very good concierge service. Thank you especially Mr. Sagot and Sophie, who are always there for the guest. We are clearly prefering the Royal to the Partner Hotel Normandy. Happy Easter 2022!

The property is literally 6 minutes walking from the railway station and 10 minutes from the beach. All other places are in and around. The housekeeping staff is impeccable, the reception staff is helpful and friendly and you can leave your valuables without a doubt. Only thing missing is mini bar and a safe, but still this hotel is worth every penny.

Maybe worth booking in advance if that’s possible. Breakfast was good selection including on one day, a hot breakfast. All food regularly replenished. Rooms well equipped and good size with good air con. Slept well in comfortable bed. Thoroughly recommend.

My husband and I began our road trip by sailing over from the UK to Cherborug. We found this beauty of a hotel, as our first stop. A 2 hour drive from Cherbourg, we were greeted by friendly reception staff, who helped us park in their secure car park. The hotel had reserved us a space ready. (Cost €24 per day). They were very speedy on replying to messages. The hotel itself is beautiful. We got a room with a terrace, overlooking the gardens. A 5 minute walk to restaurants & bars. Great a**osphere and was lovely to sit near the water fountain with a drink and dinner. We also walked to the beach front (bar de Soleil was fabulous) which took us about 10-15 minutes. Hotel very clean and quiet. Bed comfortable - we both slept great! A lovey touch with complimentary water, juice & fizzy drink in our mini fridge. A perfect start to our holiday. Just gutted we didn’t stay another night! Would highly recommend. Thank you!

We stayed 2 nights in this charming hotel, ideally located 5 minutes from the station, from the beach of Deauville and near Trouville. A supermarket is ideally located just in front of the hotel. We received a very good welcome. The breakfast consists of local products is of very good quality. The room is very right and the staff very attentive. Very good stay in this hotel at the excellent quality price ratio for Deauville. We will return to it if the opportunity comes.
