A beautiful little inn on the shores of the river, we found this hotel comfortable, clean and the king bed was amazingly comfortable. The staff is simply amazing, they are friendly, cordial and go way above and beyond to make sure your requirements are attended to. I cannot recommend this establishment enough. Special thanks to them for helping my husband navigate his way around an unfamiliar area while I sat with my mom at the local hospital. This is now my go to place whenever I have to be in the Southern Maryland area for any reason.

Nice but health issues
the Inn is lovely, beds comfortable and upgrade materials in bathroom & sink -HOWEVER RM 206 smelled terrible (moldy) the minute you walked in - they were sold out so we could not change rooms - it was even more upsetting to learn that part of group only paid $160 while 2 other couples pd $290. finding that out made me think they should have offered us a discoubted rate for the horrible smell. This room did not have a balcony and my guess is the filters in the a/C had not been cleaned as I did not see any visible mold (and tbe room WAS clean (so I don’t think it was a housekeeping issue

Anchored Inn
The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Great location if you have a boat and want to spend a couple of nights on land and/or just visiting the area.

There was a food truck, outdoor, covered bar and live music. The bar area and music ended early. Great atmosphere.

The hotel was a nice, quiet place that we enjoyed. The staff was super attentive and friendly. The only reason I am talking off a star is the hotel had a sign posted that the breakfast was open from 7:30 to 10:30 and one of the mornings the staff closed it at 10 and we arrived at 10:10 and told us it closed at 10. Breakfast should be available for the posted hours or the posted hours should be changed.

Two Thumbs Up
Water pressure is great. Hot water is abundant. Mattress was comfortable. Late check-in was effortless. Early check-out was a breeze. We would have preferred that the bar next door serve food...only liquor, no food.
