The room was quiet, very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Fluffy bath towels are always a bonus. The room also came with two complimentary bottles of water which was really nice on a hot day of traveling. Check in was a little odd because the hotel check-in desk is basically in the middle of a bar. The night that we stayed, there was a rodeo and very busy in the bar area, so it was really hard to hear the check in person. Also the parking lot was filled in with non-hotel guests so we had to park in a ramp which was fine, except that it was up a steep hill--or down a steep hill to get to the hotel. There was a golf cart shuttle service, but they were helping other guests and we didn't want to wait. The hotel restaurant was OK. It wasn't bad, just meh. Because the rodeo was in town, they offered a smaller menu. We had been looking forward to the prime rib which wasn't on the menu that night. That was disappointing. We never went to the ****** at the hotel so I can't comment on that. Overall, a clean, comfortable place to stay the night in Deadwood.
