The staff is polite and very discreet. Two small bemol: a very strong noise during the night (which came from nearby restaurants) and I had no hot water for the shower, in the morning ...

The 18-square-meter double bed is booked, the room is really small, it can't be turned away, the health is OK, the front desk service is OK, there is no hotel breakfast, there are several supermarkets nearby a few hundred meters, it is very convenient to buy food

We hadden op voorhand per mail contact met het hotel waarbij we zeer vriendelijk te woord werden gestaan, dus we keken uit naar ons verblijf. Echter misten we zowel bij aankomst als bij het uitchecken de Nederlandse gastvrijheid, en werd alles kort en zakelijk meegedeeld en afgerekend. Goed, de kamer zelf, een Deluxe kamer, was zeer ruim, proper en had een uitzicht over de velden. Onze kamer lag op het gelijkvloers en er was een deur naar buiten met enkele tuinmeubelen en eveneens een wijds uitzicht, zalig om hier te zitten bij goed weer! We hebben ook gegeten in het restaurant en dit was prijs / kwaliteit oké. Maar moest je er de tijd en zin hebben, zou ik eerder aanraden om buitenshuis een leuk adresje te zoeken.

It’s been a year now since I started staying at Miss Blanche a number of days a week for my work in Groningen and it’s been wonderful. The rooms as not only very clean (cleaning is excellent, every day) and well maintained but also warm and inviting at the same time. And what is nicer than coming into your hotel room after a long days work and finding the lights on and such a beautiful Christmas tree in your room as a welcome. But what makes it feel like a home away from home is the always friendly and kind staff. Whether it was during the heart of the lock-down or during other months when Miss Blanche is very busy, whoever is is at reception or cleaning, they are always kind and professional. The location is excellent, right in de heart of the city with beautiful views of the canals from many of the rooms and suites. And the canals are beautiful with lighting decorations this time of year.
