Don't expect a Boutique-like atmosphere or appearance and okay, the average age of the guests was 65+, but what a top hotel. Very nice staff both at check-in and check-out. We had a large room with a sitting area, wonderful beds, excellent bathroom with jacuzzi, refrigerator, safe, TV, etc. The hotel's location is excellent (2, 3 minutes walk from the center). Sufficient free parking space at the hotel and a covered bicycle shed. Delicious, very extensive breakfast buffet. In short, no negative points, just maybe the room fan that sounds a bit loud. Absolutely recommended.

Hotel Greenside is highly recommended. We always book a garden room, a nice spacious and not unimportantly very clean room with terrace and perfect beds and coffee and tea in the room. A quite extensive breakfast and very friendly employees. We have been there for years in a row and hope to return often.

In September 2020 we stayed at the Hotel Greenside for the first time on our honeymoon. Since then we have been going there every year for a few days on our wedding anniversary. The staff has always been very friendly, the rooms spacious and very clean. The breakfast buffet has always been plentiful and attractively presented. We are already looking forward to September 2023. Of course we have already booked ;)

We booked a two-night stay in a Luxury Room with Balcony. The room was spacious, neat and modern so we were very happy with it. The hotel has free parking spaces and two chargers for electric cars, one for Tesla and one universal that charges at 3 kWh. The breakfast was well prepared and there was a wide choice. However, the wellness was quite limited; the Turkish steam bath had a technical problem, and other than that there was only a normal sauna and infrared sauna. For a room of €210 per night, it would have been nice if a bottle of drinking water had been provided in the minibar.

Excellent and beautiful hotel in a quiet location just outside the center. Friendly staff and happy to help. The room was neat and clean and well equipped, the beds are fine! We were informed in advance that the restaurant was closed due to a lack of staff after corona, but there are plenty of options to eat out within a 5-minute walk! The bar was open and you could sit and have a drink. The breakfast is great!! Sauna was nice and looks beautiful! The floor was very slippery and we almost slipped in the showers with wet feet, so that could have been better! We stayed 1 night!

A good hotel to explore Texel for a weekend. Spacious clean rooms with a good bed, outdoor seating and coffee/tea facilities. Delicious breakfast. Nice sauna and very friendly staff. Near the pleasant center of De Koog.

We stayed in the luxury room in the tower with balcony. Great room. Beautiful styling. Beautiful. Very spacious! Bathroom was neat. Not very large but fully equipped. And to our surprise there was a bath in it. We did not see this in the description. (or overlooked). Wonderful bath! Staff was very friendly. Very hospitable. Breakfast was delicious! Nice restaurant. Closed for dinner in the winter months. But breakfast was delicious with fresh orange juice and rolls and nice coffee and tea. Fresh fruit. Delicious local yogurt. The village of De Koog was very close and also very cozy. Here you can also eat and drink, go out and shop. Which was the most wonderful thing and for which we will definitely come back. The bed! Slept wonderfully on it! Good beds! So in short. Recommended!

This hotel is touted as the "best" on Texel. The reception was warm, friendly and some of the ladies were very willing to talk. Unfortunately, we were immediately told that the restaurant was permanently closed. Not good! The "luxury room with balcony" we booked was clean and spacious. The balcony with 2 chairs was just 1.5 square meters, not suitable for comfort. Not suitable for a longer vacation, however, as there are hardly any storage spaces (cupboards) for clothes. There is a refrigerator and water/coffee maker. The mirror in the bathroom should have been better lit, the bathtub is too big, so it's totally uncomfortable for bathing. The shower is very good, but half floods the bathroom! The box spring beds are very comfortable, nothing to complain about. It was quiet on the 3rd floor, but unfortunately the curtains don't close properly, I always woke up at 7 a.m. The cleaning was done daily and was decent. Breakfast: buffet with typical Dutch "self-catering at the coffee machine". The selection was extensive, there was something for everyone, including salmon and fresh fruit. We didn't use the sauna or the fitness room. Conclusion: not cheap, but worth the price!

We stayed at the Greenside Hotel for a long weekend in good weather. We had a garden room with a small terrace. The room was a good size and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The small fridge was very quiet = there was no humming noise. There was a kettle and a Nespresso machine whose capsules were also refilled. The bathroom was very large and clean, although a little old. Hot water is really hot water. I would have scalded myself with the mixer tap setting from home. The staff were all very friendly and looked after us. The breakfast buffet was very extensive. The various yoghurts etc. were particularly noteworthy in my opinion. The bacon was a bit too soft for me and there were no fried eggs. We used the sauna area once. It is small but nice and very clean.
