Extended Stay America Suites - Dayton - North

We pre booked here months prior but When I arrived we were given a room key of someone else’s room when we opened the door someone was in the shower cause I could hear it running and all of their things all over the room so I left our immediately. And returned to the lobby where I told the clerk that she had given me keys to someone room and how that the room was occupied and how could a mistake like that even be made anything could have happened in that moment if the people inside had seen us come in so I was shook and upset by that because that was crazy in it self and could have gotten me or my family hurt so I asked her for another room to which at first she said she didn’t have one until I gave you guys a call to tell you all what was going on but then she said she had a room but when we got into the room the room had a smell like someone had just freshly left from inside out towels were all on the floor but 2 and they were stained we went back to talk to the clerk again and she told us that we would be getting a discount upon check out we would be receive our receipt and be refunded and that we would only be paying 89 dollars for our complete stay so we thought that we were taken care of to only be given back 90dollars I didn’t take any photo because I felt like everything would have been taken care of at checkout but it wasn’t and now I feel crazy because I didn’t it was so bad I don’t ever wanna stay again

Staff was allowing smoking in a no smoking area right below our window and the room smelled like smoke especially in the bathroom.

Not a good choice The place was very worn and dirty. Paint peeling off the wall. It smelled of ****. There was even an almost empty bottle of beer left in the window sill. So obviously the housekeeper didn’t do that area as claimed in notes. There was only a small soap and one tiny shampoo. No hair drier. I had to keep signing into the Internet. It kept disconnecting.
