Daylesford Holiday Park

Have always, always been a Daylesford fan. Haven't been back since adopting a Bull Arab. Stayed at Daylesford Holiday Park. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay with Tiger. Warm reception when signing in. Lovely lady at the front desk. Cabin had an ensuite which was a great addition for the price. Stayed 2 amazing nights and I am already planning our next trip. Highly recommended.

Pretty park, made more appealing with the lovely individual garden touches. Only downfall is the inadequate number of toilets and showers for a park this size, with front block appearing to be closed( signage on door) and therefore all occupants using inadequately maintained block of 3 showers and 3 toilets. Great location, close to town and lake.

The caravan site was great, staff was very friendly. amenities were great & clean. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was that you could not have an open fire place, even though there was an open fireplace hut. We would go back in the warmer weather.

Cabin was filthy!! Floor was dirty, rubbish and food (chocolate and pretzels) under couch. Food under couch cushions, cutlery and rubbish under beds. Microwave covered in food. Kitchen cupboards were covered in what looked like spilled coffee. A bag of potatoes was still in cupboard from last guests. It smelt of urine. Not happy at all. After notifying staff of how dirty it was and we were not happy as we have an anaphylactic to dairy child we were offered a free icecream. Mop in cabin was filthy. We had to go buy a new one and cleaning products before taking our children inside. I spent an hour cleaning the mess!! Cabin number 15!

The staff friendly, helpful and accommodating. Assisting me reversing my van, all things regarding my booking, 4 casual staff members all keeping the facility tip top!! The camp kitchen was fabulous and I used it for all cooking and washing up while watching the tv!! Ideally located to walk to town, lakes and other highlights. Rhododendron in bloom everywhere! Short drives in all directions takes you to waterfalls, wineries, historic places and buildings. Aaaaaand do spoilt with a visit from a coffee van and live entertainment on the premises Sunday afternoon !😊

Booked a cabin to suit 5x people, thankfully 2 people were not able to attend. $250/night..... BBQ area only one bbq working, no bin, BBQs filthy. Message in cabin to say unless cabin is left spotless, cleaning charges will apply. Main bedroom bed had hair and eyelashes in the bed, stained blankets. Couch only suitable for 2x people. Guest room with 1x queen and single bunk, bed not made, with zip locked linen and message on linen to say if only a single item used from package, laundering charges will apply. Kitchen grill not working. Hot water service only suitable for 1x quick shower at a time. Cabin advertised as having camp fire, no such thing exists. I have stayed in nicer cabins for half the price. For the price, expected a much better standard. Very unimpressed and will not be back.
