Premier Inn Nottingham North (Daybrook)

The staff is exceptional, ensuring comfort and care. The hotel's cleanliness is consistently praised. Its prime location near the city center is convenient for visitors. Guests enjoy a diverse and delicious breakfast.

Not the best experience Asked for quiet room. Allocated ground floor rear of hotel. View of litter, dark and the sounds of wild wilder beast every time the guest in the room above moved. Fire alarm went off. I left my room. To see all guests continuing to eat breakfast and staff carrying on with duties. No reassuring explanation. I had to ask !!”it’s always hair straighteners”. I wanted to reply one day it may not be !!!!!! Cleaning not up to standard. Many areas missed. Grubby shared bathroom soap dispensers. Dirty sink. Including a huge long hair. Over powering smell of needing to air the room with good old fashioned fresh air Would Lenny Henry stay here? I won’t!

I stay in Premier Inns regularly and have always been happy with the standards of comfort and cleanliness as well as the pleasant and efficient staff. That said, on this occasion, I was somewhat disapointed with this particular venue. Check in was fine but my room window was open in sub zero temperatures which was odd, doors and windows throughout were kept open so there was obviously a problem of some sort. The room heater was ok but difficult to control and kept resetting itself. The tv was well used and the controls didn't really work. Overall cleanliness and comfort were good and my room was very quiet. When I tried to connect my work laptop to both of the Premier Inn wi-fi options it wouldn't connect and I got an error message saying that these networks were unsafe and shouldn't be used which has never happened before in other hotels including other Premier Inns so I've no idea what's going on here. As others have said, the breakfast was very good and the staff were always helpful.
