"The room is very big and it is really spacious! If you don't like a small room, you can live in this. The second bedroom is a twin room, the bed is very comfortable, perfect and quiet, and sleeps well. The view is very good. We were upgraded to a suite, so it is really affordable! The master bedroom is surrounded by bamboo scenery with a bathtub (the one where a friend lives, so I didn’t take the picture). Two bedrooms have a toilet. There is also a toilet. There is a massage chair and a refrigerator. It is a minute walk from the scenic bus parking lot. They also have a restaurant. The signboard is crispy skin roast chicken. Other local specialties. There are also color dishes, 10% off the room card checkout"

"The hotel I stayed at on this trip was one of the best I have ever stayed in! As soon as I entered the lobby, the decoration was exquisite and atmospheric, giving people a high-end and warm feeling. The room was clean and tidy, the facilities were brand new and complete, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, so I could sleep well every night. The service attitude of the hotel staff is superb, from the warm reception at the front desk to the cordial greetings of the cleaning aunt, it makes people feel warm. The location is also very good, travel, shopping and eating around are very convenient. Come here next time, I highly recommend it to everyone!"

"Amazing stay at Yunlu. Amazing service from the wonderful staff. Extremely quiet location. Beautiful scenery around. Great breakfast (no buffet). Large rooms with great views. Even a small pool (more for children). I cannot say enough good things about the amazing service that the staff provided. Joyous staff. Good feelings. Not much English spoken (well basically none as is usual in China based on my experience) but with the help of the various apps and a positive attitude this is practically not a real issue. It can even be fun. Anyway they fulfilled all my requests and more than that (incl. for the breakfast as I suffer from diabetes) and always made sure I was happy and enjoying my stay. The rooms I had (2 stays) were very large. The air conditioning was very efficient and silent. The views were so enjoyable (yes out there in Mingshi there are better views of course but still). The large bed was very comfortable. Big sofa, tables, chairs ... and a lot of space. Nice bathroom with good shower. A fridge was available and included some ”free” drinks. I found the location perfect as it is not in the village itself but on the other side of the little river. So it is very quiet. A very short drive to the village and even walking requires no more than 30 minutes. Restaurants are only available in the village and bike rentals are way cheaper in the village too. I would certainly not recommend the local shop close to the hotel for rentals as the deals proposed are absurd (well prices the owner articulated were simply exorbitant). I will definitely return to Mingshi as I loved the region and there is so much to discover. I will quite certainly look no further than the Yunlu. Location. Peacefulness. But above all because of the extraordinary customer friendly attitude and the good spirit of the ”team”."

"A family of three and four children booked two rooms at Zhenshan and stayed there for two nights. They arrived in the afternoon of the first day, had some noodles and then checked in at Yulingba and Xingfu Bridge. They arrived at Detian on the second day, came back to rest, and left the hotel on the third day and headed to the next stop. Zhenshan is in a very good location, close to the Xingfu Bridge in Yulingba and a little far from the Xingfu Community, but you can get there by renting an electric scooter (the price is negotiable). It is also a 40-minute drive from Detian by car. The breakfast at Zhenshan is rich and well-supplied. One bowl of noodles is enough for a big or small snack for us. The Shiwei restaurant opposite to the restaurant is pretty good, and the hand-made yellow-skinned lemon dish next to it is delicious. If you have high demands for food and can afford the prices, you can go to the Chinese restaurants there. (The last few pictures are from there)"

"Catching the tail end of the summer holidays, I compared a few guesthouses and finally opted for Changliushanju. While the 1700 price point felt a bit steep, its natural setting by the mountains and water was undoubtedly stunning, and the air even carried the scent of the fields. As for the environment, it's quite good for a guesthouse. With over 100 rooms, it’s not a chain, yet many of its facilities are designed to chain standards. Unfortunately, the staffing seemed inadequate; cleaning was very slow. There's also a gym, but it has limited equipment and confusing signage, so I had to wander around just to figure things out. On the bright side, the front desk service was excellent. The young gentleman in the lobby was particularly enthusiastic. My car tire went flat right as I entered the property, and he helpfully provided a contact number and carried my bags to the room. However, the room still had a faint, rather overwhelming musty smell, clearly indicating dampness. The restaurant's food was decent overall. The passion fruit ribs, however, were served cold, and after being fried, the ribs themselves were particularly tough. The sweet and sour flavor was acceptable. The roast chicken and stir-fried beef were quite good and paired well with rice. I also noticed that the complimentary bedtime sweet soup mentioned on Xiaohongshu was nowhere to be found. And the farewell gift after check-out had apparently been downgraded to just small cookies? Given the inflated price, I doubt I'll be staying here again."

"Seeing the words ”Special Offer Room,” I initially thought it would be just ”okay,” but I was pleasantly surprised upon checking in—it was a newly renovated room! I specifically noted ”quiet” when booking, and the receptionist thoughtfully arranged a room facing the inner side of the parking lot. With the windows closed at night, I couldn't even hear the traffic below, which was a huge plus for a light sleeper like me. Although it was a special offer, the room was spotless, and the sheets and blankets had a faint, sunny scent—it didn't feel cheap at all. The room also provided two complimentary bottles of mineral water and tea bags—such thoughtful details! The hotel breakfast had a great variety of options! I've already recommended it to my friends, and I'll definitely stay here again next time—the value for money is truly amazing!"
