"Can’t fault the hotel for service and cleanliness. The rooms are basic yet with a great level of comfort. Beds are comfortable and you have everything you need. The ladies at the front desk are really sweet and ready to help. You need a translating app or they can call someone who speaks English to communicate with you. As a foreigner being here at Chinese New Year it was hard being in town. The fireworks were loud and there was some street noise but we understood this is normal for the time of year. It would be great if the hotel utilised some of the outside spaces to make them a nice place to hang out. Some things to know: transport is expensive to get to the hotel unless you do busses and trains. However this is not straightforward and may not fit in with your timeline. Transport to some features is also pricey- about 400 per car Chinese new year prices (it’s not that they overcharge it’s just that things are far and there may not be another option for transport). We were a large group and needed 2 cars. If you get off the main road and into the scenic paths it is beautiful with cycle routes. There is a sweet bamboo river cruise you can do in and around town: Food is traditional Chinese everywhere you go but we have been here long enough to navigate that. Definitely go river rafting and cave exploring at Gulong waterfall/ cave. Tongling waterfall and scenic area is close there as well but we didn’t go. It is 80km away and a car will cost you but it is worth it. We also went to Detian waterfall which is nice but busy at Chinese new year. There was a a cool human conveyor belt up a section and a slide down which is fun. For this trip there is a bus leaving from the Mingshi scenic area bus terminal. Tickets are 20 per person. People here are generally sweet and the area is beautiful but it is rural China and you need the right attitude to approach this. It will be a rewarding experience if you have that."

"The room is super clean and the environment is very quiet. Although it is close to the road, it is not noisy at night or during the day. It is very suitable for a family. There are many types of breakfast and the taste is good. I highly recommend it to friends who are traveling nearby. I personally recommend eating somewhere else before checking in. "The best experience of a two-day trip to Chongzuo is to book this hotel. The room has a yard that has a Southeast Asian holiday feel. The yard opens to a swimming pool for swimming, which is very convenient. The yard is in the scenic area, and a bamboo raft tour is also provided. The boat drop-off point is right at the hotel, and the route is very nice. The hotel staff is very warm and thoughtful. The toilet is also covered with a disposable toilet cover. Points that can be improved: The hotel meals are not delicious, there are few choices, and the service is average. The bed is 1.2 meters, too small, only suitable for single living, and a little nervous with a baby. After all, it is a pristine place in the countryside, and there are indeed many mosquitoes."

"Mingshi Yaju, the first thing that impressed me was the location and environment of the hotel. The hotel is very conveniently located in the scenic area. The hotel is built by the water. There is a green river downstairs and a long mountain opposite. It is very pleasant. The swimming pool and the river face each other. Every shot is a beautiful photo. But the service must be the one that can keep the guests' hearts. The hotel also provides guests with bamboo raft afternoon tea. Speaking of bamboo rafts, I have to talk about the handsome boy Xiao Tan, who is kind and enthusiastic, generous in conversation, very talkative, and a very sunny and thoughtful young man. The car cannot enter the scenic area, but don't worry, the shuttle bus like a classic car is always at the service of the guests. Even the restaurant at the entrance of the scenic area (actually very close) can't bear to let the guests walk too much, and will take the initiative to arrange the car. Every staff member of the hotel has a very high sense of service. Some luggage is not heavy, but they all emphasize that they are handed over to them. The restaurant is only a hundred meters away. Xiao Yu was afraid that we didn't know the exclusive location of Yaju, so he walked with us. It was really thoughtful and considerate. The hotel provided national costumes. I was originally worried that no one would take pictures for me with the elderly and children. Xiao Yu took the trouble to take pictures for me, leaving many beautiful memories. This trip was because of my mother's birthday, but we stayed in another hotel on her birthday. Unexpectedly, the hotel also carefully prepared a birthday cake for my mother on the day we checked in. The room was decorated. My mother was very happy, which made us feel a little happier on this trip. As a guest, I can deeply feel that Yaju is a hotel that pays great attention to the feelings of guests. They are not afraid of guests' suggestions, but just want to do better. Yaju's service is like a thermos cup that can always warm your heart. The environment is elegant like the shell of a thermos bottle, but we finally chose to keep a thermos cup because of its durability. "Amazing hotel! It really is more like a resort with a lot of things to discover. Unfortunately, probably due to the current pandemic situation, not everything has been in operation. You got a little nice bar for the occasional long-nighter 😅 there and a restaurant with a huge menu of different meals. The restaurant service has been unbelievable quick to serve the fresh cooked dishes. The hotel itself has been quite clean and the service staff always been helpful. Do not expect anyone speaking English thou. The whole surrounding is taken care of with visible passion and still you feel like in the middle of the jungle. If you got some time to spare, walk around the little village outside the hotel and try to find the small beautiful almost historic part of it, still being actively lived in by the locals. Just please always be respectful and cautious not to disturb them in any way. FYI: if you arrive there by bus from from Nanning (南宁) to DaXin (大新) (the ride itself is absolutely worth it), there are local drivers Infront of the bus station who know how to get to the hotel. Just make sure not to pay more then 250 RMB. Also make sure all your health codes, passports, visas, etc are all in order and quickly handy. After all it is a border region and the are a lot of checkpoints to pass through. That's no time to mess up anything."

"The room environment is very good, the service is super good, the shop is 4 kilometers away from the gate of Detian Waterfall Scenic Area, 1 km away from Delao Kapok Scenic Area, opposite the hotel is the Vietnamese master cooking tastes good"

"It should be the best hotel in the county. The hotel is located opposite the square of the county. The parking lot in front of the door is large and convenient for parking. The hotel is very new, the lobby on the first floor is large, the floor height is very high, and the atmosphere is spacious. The front desk service is good. The elevator is also very new. The room and bathroom are large enough, and the facilities in the room are also in line with the level of the Vienna hotel. WIFI speed is fast. Overall meet expectations."

"The villa counter staff are prompt in responding to every request. They are very helpful, polite and professional. So is everyone else, including the housekeeping cleaners. The shuttle bus comes readily when called. Our courtyard room for 3 with a loft on level 2, with balcony facing the pool is new, clean and well-furnished. There are 4 of us and extra blankets and pillows are given readily upon request for the 4th person. The shower heater in the bathroom works well and water drains well in the bathroom. The air heater works perfectly to keep us warm in the winter cold. Buffer breakfast has a big variety of very delicious food, including hot noodle soup with meat and vegetables. The traditional dance at 8pm is a must-watch especially the lighting of fire and mass dance at the finale. Everyone and everything are excellent and make our stay so pleasant and memorable. However we still feel that the room rate is too pricey for a rural environment. And there’s no need to have boat tickets daily. One time boat-ride is sufficient."

"A family of three and four children booked two rooms at Zhenshan and stayed there for two nights. They arrived in the afternoon of the first day, had some noodles and then checked in at Yulingba and Xingfu Bridge. They arrived at Detian on the second day, came back to rest, and left the hotel on the third day and headed to the next stop. Zhenshan is in a very good location, close to the Xingfu Bridge in Yulingba and a little far from the Xingfu Community, but you can get there by renting an electric scooter (the price is negotiable). It is also a 40-minute drive from Detian by car. The breakfast at Zhenshan is rich and well-supplied. One bowl of noodles is enough for a big or small snack for us. The Shiwei restaurant opposite to the restaurant is pretty good, and the hand-made yellow-skinned lemon dish next to it is delicious.
