Very good stay experience, originally to stay for two nights, booked for one night. Not only the accommodation is good, the service is first-class, there is also a rooftop swimming pool, although small, but the pool water is clean, watching the scenery by the pool is first-class! The breakfast was very rich, from 7 am to 12 noon, very user-friendly. There are fruits in the lobby and you can use them yourself. The inn also prepares Phoenix bicycles for guests to ride in the Mingshi Pastoral Scenic Area. Next time if you come to Detian Waterfall, you must stay here again, but you have to book a room early, otherwise it is difficult to book in the off-season.

Amazing hotel! It really is more like a resort with a lot of things to discover. Unfortunately, probably due to the current pandemic situation, not everything has been in operation. You got a little nice bar for the occasional long-nighter 😅 there and a restaurant with a huge menu of different meals. The restaurant service has been unbelievable quick to serve the fresh cooked dishes. The hotel itself has been quite clean and the service staff always been helpful. Do not expect anyone speaking English thou. The whole surrounding is taken care of with visible passion and still you feel like in the middle of the jungle. If you got some time to spare, walk around the little village outside the hotel and try to find the small beautiful almost historic part of it, still being actively lived in by the locals. Just please always be respectful and cautious not to disturb them in any way. FYI: if you arrive there by bus from from Nanning (南宁) to DaXin (大新) (the ride itself is absolutely worth it), there are local drivers Infront of the bus station who know how to get to the hotel. Just make sure not to pay more then 250 RMB. Also make sure all your health codes, passports, visas, etc are all in order and quickly handy. After all it is a border region and the are a lot of checkpoints to pass through. That's no time to mess up anything.

Finally I met a hotel with warm [sun], which swept away the haze and fatigue of several days. Her air conditioner is so warm! The socks I washed three days ago are now dry this time [face covering]. There were so many people that they asked for more quilts from the store. There were no quilts and the store took out all their own quilts! 👍The surprise when I woke up in the morning was how beautiful the scenery outside was! I took advantage of the warmth and took a shower again. Even though it was past breakfast time, the boss still warmly cooked noodles for us [爱][爱][爱]. By the way, her home has just been renovated, and the solid wood products are all made by her father using his own collection of wood, which is very textured. All in all, it feels good! Came to Guangxi Mingshi Countryside. The scenery is beautiful and pleasant, and the rape flowers are blooming vigorously. It is very comfortable to walk around. The garden view of the hotel's big bed room is blocked by trees. I changed to a better room, but I still don't like it. The room is very dark and not friendly to people with poor eyesight. Unexpectedly, the mosquitoes are as fierce as tigers. The bites are all lumps, and blisters appear the next day. The hotel waiter took iodine and then took Fengyoujing, and it was quiet. There were mosquitoes in early March and I was drunk. The breakfast was rich, the dinner was not bad, and the housekeeper's service was warm and thoughtful. It was a good experience. In addition, the hotel sent a bamboo raft tour, which was quite interesting. There were flutes and mountain songs along the way. It was a good experience.

When checking in, we upgraded directly to the Old Kapok Hotel. The hotel in this scenic area is managed by the Guangdong Tourism Group and should be the best and most formal hotel near Detian Waterfall. I don't know why there are so many bad reviews? The front desk customer service is very polite and patient. The room is clean and tidy, and fruits are sent thoughtfully. There are bags for bathing in wooden barrels. It's so comfortable to take a bath after a day in Detian. The hotel itself is a scenic spot, it is worth a visit. There are boundary monuments and rivers behind it, so you don't have to go to Detian to line up for photos. The hotel is seven or eight kilometers away from the main gate of Detian, suitable for self-driving or chartered travel. The hotel has breakfast with a rich variety. If you bring your family and don't want to try and make mistakes, choose this Kapok Hotel. There is also a RV camping site behind it, with a children's playground, which is really recommended.

The villa counter staff are prompt in responding to every request. They are very helpful, polite and professional. So is everyone else, including the housekeeping cleaners. The shuttle bus comes readily when called. Our courtyard room for 3 with a loft on level 2, with balcony facing the pool is new, clean and well-furnished. There are 4 of us and extra blankets and pillows are given readily upon request for the 4th person. The shower heater in the bathroom works well and water drains well in the bathroom. The air heater works perfectly to keep us warm in the winter cold. Buffer breakfast has a big variety of very delicious food, including hot noodle soup with meat and vegetables. The traditional dance at 8pm is a must-watch especially the lighting of fire and mass dance at the finale. Everyone and everything are excellent and make our stay so pleasant and memorable. However we still feel that the room rate is too pricey for a rural environment. And there’s no need to have boat tickets daily. One time boat-ride is sufficient.
