We stayed here recently, and we are glad we did, very welcoming, friendly staff, special mention to Adam who works behind the bar, for looking after us, Lively atmosphere, music, would definetly recommend if you are in Dawlish looking to stay. Thank you!

Positives: clean room, comfortable beds. Sink in most rooms. Tea and coffeeaking facilities. Negatives: very loud music until after 11pm from the pub until late. Room 4 has no ventilation and very little head room. If the venue had mentioned the loud music we could have made a choice. The review would then be 3/5

The landlord is an absolute tube, he and his staff have no customer service skills, typical back street pub with a wannabe plastic biker behind the bar who has no idea how to make drinks that aren't from the pump. It won't be long before it closes again and the landlord can go back to the secure hospital he escaped from. He ruined an absolute blinder of a day for many people who had come to watch live music by turning the music up to the point of distortion and then basically telling you knob off when you point it out to him. Will not be going back here and we are local too..weather spoons has more charm than this dump.

I've already complained to Agoda booking site I'm going to use few words so you can make your own mind up so here we go the room bigger prison cells dust 5 mm thick on pictures hanging on the walls 20 year old beds with collapsed mattresses hot water that takes a life time to come through tap solid brick wall for window view when it said street view bedding that didn't smell of detergent dirty carpet I've seen bigger dog kennels than the toilet had to sit on toilet side ways when door was shut bloody joke shared hand towel how unhygienic when door was shut there was a gap all the way around it save your money and book somewhere descent

Visited Dawlish Thursday 27th July went to The Railway Pub what a find great selection of ciders the lady serving us was lovely Jacqueline originally from Bristol you know who you are she was really friendly @ chatty she a credit to the pub the Railway also has accommodation @ entertainment if we were staying in Dawlish would definitely have popped in for the karaoke we were staying in Paignton unfortunately but will be visiting again Andy @ Mel

My wife and I traveled from western super mare to dawlish due to a nice day in weston and overnight stay there , booked late, traveled by train We arrived early at the railway but the room was ready so we checked in and dropped our overnight bag into the room. Room was clean and comfortable and staff welcoming. close to the front and all amenities.
