Great location with easy access to downtown Davis and Sacramento Airport. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff.

The gentleman that was working the front desk was so friendly and professional. I wish I had gotten his name. He really made the stay here stand out in my mind. The rooms were very clean and the hotel itself was clean and affordable. We look forward to staying again.

It was a comfortable room and pet friendly. The wi-fi was out, but that was the only problem. Great breakfast and Desk clerk was exceptional nice.

Parking lot was being sealed and there were no direction on how to enter. Entry was very convoluted for entering at night and I could not find a way in. After checking to make sure the seal was dry, I moved the cones to enter the normal entry. I told this to the desk clerk, to let him know, who acted like I did something criminal and would report me to management. He insisted I go out and move the cones back. He also gave my room to the couple that came in immediately before me, gave me the wrong room type, stopped helping me when The couple returned because the room was not what they booked, and then gave me a second floor room after we talked about and he verified I had a ground floor room. Total chaos when I was tired and hungry and just wanted to get some sleep. My impression is he had a mix up between the other couple and myself and his solution to save face cascaded into multiple errors. I also don’t like being treated like a criminal instead of a customer when you can’t make it clear for what a customer is supposed to do.

The hotel is convenient to the freeway, but noisy with the traffic noise. Building could use some maintenance, paint, mattresses are examples. Good Chinese restaurant within walking distance. No batteries in the thermostat control so had to contact the front desk but personnel responded quickly.

This La Quinta was a pleasant place to spend a night. The bed and room was comfortable, and parking was easy right in the front. A grocery store was just a few blocks away.
Perhaps the best thing about it was the breakfast - a good variety of hot food and good coffee.
