"I recently stayed at Hotel Galleria in Davao City. While the location is quite convenient, I feel that the overall experience could use some improvement. The hotel feels a bit dated and would definitely benefit from some renovation and repairs.
Cleanliness was also a concern — we felt the need to sanitize the room ourselves upon arrival, and there were moments we weren’t entirely comfortable with the beddings, possibly due to bed bugs or maybe I was just being overly cautious. I even had to place the blanket underneath me before settling in.
That said, I hope the management takes this as constructive feedback. With a few updates and better attention to cleanliness, the hotel has the potential to offer a much more pleasant stay."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the heart of the city. My partner and I experienced excellent service, mainly when an incident arose that required us to visit the hospital. The staff were exceptionally cooperative in providing an incident report, which was incredibly helpful for our insurance reimbursement process.
While the hotel is somewhat older and the amenities could be upgraded, I still felt very comfortable during our stay.
I would recommend this place."

"We arrived a bit late on our first night and were accommodated poorly. After a long day of travel, we encountered several issues with our room arrangements. I had booked two rooms, expecting them to be close to each other, but that was not the case. As a family travelling together, we requested to have our rooms swapped to be nearer, yet we were only allowed to add an extra bed. This was not ideal, especially since my mom couldn't stay alone in a room meant for 6 to 8 people, which I had already paid for.
When I spoke to the front desk, who I believe was the manager on duty at the time, her tone was unpleasing and lacked empathy for us as guests. It was a disappointing negotiation. We also discussed issues with the internet connection, and she seemed unyielding, suggesting that nothing could be done except to pay for a data plan, for which they would provide a modem.
Having stayed at many hotels and being a hotel manager, I can clearly say that our service was inadequate."

Breakfast is very good also
We have booked to stay there twice now and will be booking again
The only downside is that they close the doors at 9pm so if you like the nightlife you'll be locked out just something to think about when booking"

"If you think of the Philippines with white beaches, palm trees and endless views over the sea, then this is not the place to be. But a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city of Davao and enjoy service, good food and peace. Beautiful rooms with private garden and terrace. Great beautiful park and very neatly maintained
And of course you can swim in the sea with a view of the cosmopolitan city of Davao."

"We arrived late in the evening yet they still accomodated us well. There was a slight miscommunication between my booking through trip.com and their system but was resolved after i showed them my booking details. They forgot to return my id upon checkout since my wifey was the one who checked us out, good thing they called us to inform us. Overall, it was a nice stay."

PPeriwinkle BluThe Strand dormitel is a quaint home away from home. Their solo room has the basic amenities you can expect. The staff are very courteous and respectful. Their breakfast of coffee and fresh bread is just right to start your day.
I will definitely book a stay with them in my next Davao travel.

AAizhaneiroWe stayed in Apo view hotel for a couple of days and enjoyed time spent there.
Firstly, the room was very spacious, clean and had a lot of light.
Secondly, the bed was comfortable and big.
Finally, they had delicious menu and swimming pool.
There were also downsides:
Our neighbors were very loud and we could hear them well since sound proofing was bad.
Hot water 🚿 we have been waiting it for a while, all you need to do is to tap a shower and wait… after 10 minutes or so you will get hot water, but there is a problem of water wasted…
We didn’t know that there was a casino downstairs, but it was a bit strange to see it.
Overall, our stay was great 👍🏼

Upon arrival, I was impressed by the security and cleanliness of the property, we also had complimentary bottled 500ml water, and guest kit (tooth brush, toothpaste, shampoo, and bar soap). The friendly staff made me feel right at home, and the amenities exceeded my expectations. I loved having access to free Wi-Fi and a TV in my room, which helped me unwind after busy days. The hot and cold shower was a nice touch, ensuring I felt refreshed throughout my stay.
One of the best perks was the convenient location—just a short walk to SM Lanang, making it easy to grab meals and shop.
