The hotel was very clean and the room was very modern. However, a room on the third floor, without an elevator and no one to carry your luggage up, is a minus point if you are no longer that fit. Rooms in the attic, with an outside temperature of 32 degrees, without air conditioning, lead to an extremely high room temperature, which is not conducive to relaxing sleep. I think it's a shame to have a hotel with an outdoor terrace that can't be used by hotel guests on a Saturday evening because it's closed to private groups. I only had that one evening there, so it was very annoying. Otherwise very nice facility with a lot of potential for improvement.

A group of us stayed here for a couple of nights whilst visiting the Nurburgring, it was a race weekend which is what I think pushed us slightly further a field for a hotel. Not a bad drive to the ‘ring. The apartments were a little older in decor but perfectly acceptable, spacious and clean. The whole resort was very clean and tidy, we didn’t use many of the facilities but they looked good at a passing glance. Food was good, breakfast had plenty of options for both food and drink. We ate in the restaurant one evening and all food was of a good standard We used the bar in the evening, it was quite quiet but staff made us feel welcome and were fun to be around.

We stayed here for 1 (very rainy) week and had a great time. We stayed in one of the bungalows- yes they are a little dated but very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is small and limited crockery but we managed. We had a patio area and garden and, when there was a bit of sun, we enjoyed relaxing out there. We used the pool every day and it never got very busy, our girls loved it. There were ample towels to use by the pool area. The gym was also quiet but good equipment. We also had facials and a massage from Youssef, who was wonderful! Great service and so sweet with my teenage daughters as it was their first facial. We used the tennis courts- rent is approximately 17euros, they provide the racquets and balls. The courts were well maintained indoor courts- just remember to wear indoor shoes! Again, we never had a problem getting a court. We didn’t use the restaurant, so can’t comment but we did use the bars and the service was good. They have a games box for a quick game of uno. All the staff were polite and helpful. They all spoke English and kindly listened to our poor German. Wi-Fi was sparodic in the bungalow but ok in the main complex. There are some lovely walks that start at the hotel. The maars nearby are beautiful and I’m sure, on days when there no threat of storms, would be great to swim in. Overall a good base for a relaxing holiday.

Please note that I am only reviewing their restaurant, as I know nothing about their hotel. I came here for dinner during my stay in the area. Their website advertises their menu, it is also available outside, so then I figured out it was opened to everyone. But when I entered, the lady who welcomed me asked me if I had booked, I said no. Then asked me about my name and I said "Why would you need my name if I haven't booked?". She looked confused, I was confused. Then she proceeded in giving me a table. I was alone in the entire restaurant. OK, it was early, but again they advertise that their kitchen is opened all day so I was expecting a bit more life. Anyway! Their website praised their love for hearty and local food, so I ordered the chicken, that seemed a bit out of your traditional schnitzel. It was the most tasteless and uneventful thing I had hate in a while. Seriously, I had better chicken in canteens! Problem thought: I was still hungry after that, and I noticed something in their menu that seemed exotic: a "Pina Colada" variation. Sure, let's give it a try! Look, as you will see from the number of reviews I have on my account, I love restaurants, I go there often, but THIS was the time I felt the most scammed in a loooong time! It was a fricking can of pineapple...with a bit of grated coconut, partially in a (cold) already made crepes, with a factory made coconut ice cream scoop, for 8€. No whipped cream, not caramelized, not fried panned, nothing. You are welcome! Cost of this delightful experience: a whopping 30€ and I promised they will never see my money again :)
