Nafsika Hotel - Adults Only

We stayed for 7 nights and had an amazing time. Wanted to do some trips around the island and something special for our anniversary and we couldn’t be in a better place. Staff is so warm and calm and know how to make you feel welcome. Marilena and Giota at reception sorted everything for us,from a trip around the island where the scenery was amazing to paragliding on the west coast which was breathtaking. Staff at the restaurant and kitchen are always there and always willing to help if needed. Food was superb as you would expect in Greece. Overall it was a fantastic holiday and we will be coming back in the future.

Brilliant choice of hotel in Dassia, Corfu! All staff were very friendly and accommodating, even with travel tips and directions to local places, rooms squeaky clean and everything in order, perfect for a weeks stay! All amenities very well looked after and breakfast utterly delicious. Would most definitely recommend for anyone wanting to explore this region of Corfu.

Overall a good base for us, however, I wouldn’t have been hugely happy if we stayed at the hotel all day everyday. I can’t fault the reception staff, they were really friendly and helpful. Upon arrival we were given a room which I initially believed to be the wrong room as there were three beds set up. I asked if this could be removed but I was told it couldn’t, it made the room really small therefore we asked to move. We were given a room on the top floor which was much bigger and better. The room was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. Air con was fantastic and used for the entirety of our stay. The breakfast was a good selection and warm! One of the better breakfasts I’ve had on holidays to be honest. I found the hotel to be quiet which was nice for us as we weren’t disturbed at all during our stay. The pool area looked really pretty with the flowers however the pool itself didn’t look particularly inviting, maybe the tiles need to be replaced as they looked stained. We swam at the beach instead everyday. The pool bar is a short walk from the pool and facing the opposite way. Bit of an odd layout, it didn’t have much of a menu and stop serving food at 3pm. The staff were friendly though. We used this hotel as a base as we were out and about everyday exploring the island! If we opted to stay around the hotel everyday sunbathing I don’t think we would have enjoyed the hotel as much. Overall a nice hotel if you use a base!

I will start with the good things, as that is a very small portion of my review unfortunately… The hotel was just 20 minutes away from Corfu town and the airport so location was great. Around the hotel there was not much to do or see, so we took our car mostly everywhere and did day-trips. Daytime reception staff was kind and helpful, smiling and trying to do their best. Now comes the reality.. The night receptionist was a rude, unhappy, zero smile guy. He didnt even greet us upon arrival, just gave us keys and when we immediately wanted to change the room, he didnt try to help us just told us to come back the next day. All other nights he would not even look up from his monitor to see who came in… I was eamiling with the hotel several weeks ahead, asking for a quiet room and mentioning how important this suprise trip is for us and hope for a good room (even for extra cost)… but… The first room faced the back of the hotel, just above some generator and garbage storage, so we woke up to the trash being emptied super early in the morning and slept next to buzzing from the generator all night…. And then second room was less noisy, but from the second day there was this penetrant smell that came from the sewers and nothing made it go away…The cleaning ladies put towels on the drain caps so the smell would be less bad… The room itself is super small, very old and very worn down, NOTHING like the photos you see on the website. Also the hotel is quite worn down, much needed for a good facelift… The breakfast was ok, but definitely not good. We expected more considering previous reviews.. we ended dup eating only toast by the 3rd day… The garden area didnt see a gardener for quite some time, even tho there would be potential in having a nice area there… The pool was good, but nothing extra. The padel and tennis court are a super bonus, but unfotunately we could not play this time due to health issues. All in all, I would never recommend this place to anyone, there is nothing to do in the area, better take the car to Corfu town or Ypsos. I definitely felt dissapointed and misguided by the photos they add to their website… Sorry.

Lovely, quiet hotel. Very relaxing atmosphere at the pool, and the pool itself was clean and warm. The staff was lovely, especially Stamatis, who always gave us a warm welcome at breakfast wishing us a “good morning” and he made us the best iced coffee we had on the island! The rooms were simple but clean, the breakfast had everything we needed, lots to choose from. The hotel is about 10mins walk away from the beach, 5mins walk away from the shop and the bus stops which take you to either ipsos or Corfu town and they run every 20-30mins. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I highly recommend!!
