Find the Cheap Darwin Hotels

The hotel is a bit old, the faucet in the three-person room is a little dripping, but the others are very good, and the price is high!

First impressions were a bit disappointing as the overall look was a bit old and tatty but that's really a little harsh as the place is very spacious and well equipped but the appliances are showing signs of age and general damage, hence the tatty feel. It felt clean overall..... although the top of the cooker hood hadn't been cleaned in a while and there was a bottle of water under the bed which wasn't ours! That's being really picky though. There was no one at reception when we arrived mid afternoon on a Sunday and we hadn't received our arrival email as it was sent while we were in flight. Consequently we had to use the emergency phone there and someone talked us through opening the key safe and all was well. The smoke alarm had been removed leaving just the base plate on the ceiling. I am guessing possibly because it's outside the bathroom and the shower steam had been setting it off. It wasn't a worry to us as the building is only 2 floors and we had steps right outside our door, but I suspect this would be in breach of rules and regulations for rentals. It was nice to have a shower that was easy to operate! It wasn't full during our stay but it was very quiet to sleep and we generally didn't hear any noise from neighbouring rooms. It's only a small property with a central pool area which again wasn't noisy. The other thing we felt on arrival was that it was too far out of town. I think being Sunday it felt quieter but in reality it's just a 5 minute walk to Woolworths and proved to be a great location. We really enjoyed our stay and were sorry to leave.

Small bungalows are complete, good overall, but poor sound insulation, footsteps are often heard at the door at night

We stayed in both apartment types of the studio type one bedroom. The main difference other than the size of the room is The studio has only a shower room and the refrigerator has no freezer. There is no washing machine dryer The apartment type had a bathtub, a freezer, a washing machine and a dryer, and a detergent. The laundry was convenient in my room. Convenient location in the center but very quiet There was a supermarket a 1-minute walk away

Definitely staying here again when i am next in Darwin. Superb location! Less than ten min walk to the main street. But not so close that traffic is annoying. Staff were super lovely! My apartment had two bedrooms, laundry facilities and kitchen. It was a home away from home. And a balcony to enjoy the morning coffee. (they provide milk, tea and coffee). Beds were really comfortable, shower pressure was great. The supermarket is in walking distance as well, it was so awesome to be able to cook my own food. Everything was clean and for those afraid of flying cockroaches, i found NONE :D I loved the commitment to sustainability, and the signs by the elevators with information about the traditional landowners. Very informative. As was the Mr Butler app that listed events and nearby restaurants. Based on shared values, location and comfort - i will be back! Oh and the pool was LOVELY! Great space up there to hold a bbq too. Just two things i thought could be improved (not criticism!) - lock on the bathroom toilets by the pool, one of the sunbeds was getting a bit wearisome. Apart from two minor things, i loved staying there ＜3

Average, budget friendly accomodation. Our apartment was spacious and reasonably clean. Beds and pillows were comfy!! A/C in good working condition. Unfortunately I don’t think i’d stay here again, it’s very outdated and needs some work. Extra towels (pool towels), bin bags and toilet rolls would have been nice as my family of 3 stayed here for 3 nights. On request, staff were able to supply these items immediately. Staff were friendly and happy to inform you on things to do and places to go in the local area. The pool is great, well sized with good seating area surrounding. Our room was conveniently on the ground floor right next to the pool entrance, my daughter loved it!

Very good One of the best hotels to stay in Australia for half a month. Airport taxis are around AUD $ 26-28. A taxi for two persons is better than an airport bus for AUD15 per person. There are several large supermarket walking streets nearby, not far from walking distance. We got off the plane at 1am and arrived at the hotel. The service staff was waiting for us at the door. Full marks.

I came here to play when there were fewer people and I avoided the peak hours. The environment was pretty good, the room was clean, and the staff was very nice. It is worth recommending and I will come again in the future.

The best hostel in Darwin by far, I absolutely loved my stay. Kayleigh in reception was welcoming helpful and an absolute great welsh gal. The rooms are very clean and there is a great atmosphere. I met great people here and you absolutely can’t fault the staff . The hostel has everything you need and you’re guaranteed to enjoy.

The location is good, close to the pier and there are many restaurants nearby.
