This place is a 4-star hotel on Google Maps, but it is extremely, extremely, extremely bad. Be sure to avoid it! I brought an elderly person over 80 years old here. This place has no elevator, the stairs are extremely steep, and the service attitude is very poor. It was really hard for the two of us to get to the second floor from the parking lot with all our luggage. Their parking lot is very small and crowded, and the location is also awkward. You need to park in a circle around the block, and then you have to use a small key to open the door from the back door. The staff passage is very dirty and old, and there are many turns and stairs, which can make you tired. It's still the basement. All the rooms are on the second floor and above, which is especially not suitable for the elderly, pregnant women, and friends with strollers, wheelchairs, and crutches. And this place is extremely small, even smaller and more broken than the three-star hotel I stayed in yesterday.

Lovely 4 night stay! Quiet, clean with friendly and helpful staff. Spacious room with lots of storage . Free parking on site-bonus- and easily walkable to the waterfront. Breakfast was available with your choice of 5 items for $15 . Easily fed 2. Happy hour in the library was fun-VERY reasonably priced wine and spirits and a great chance to meet fellow travellers . If I had to improve on one thing I would have loved a king bed but the beds are extremely comfortable.
The Halliburton is a great alternative to noisy elevators , doors banging, and kids running up and down the halls. A wonderful trip back in time with all the modern conveniences. So glad we chose it!

This is place is so very quaint and comfortable, it put a smile on my face from the moment I walked in. The staff are super helpful. There are lovely seating areas to meet friends or eat my own lunch. The rooms are well-appointed and beautifully decorated. It's close to everything a tourist would want to see in downtown Halifax. The Halliburton was perfect for my needs. I highly recommend it. Only drawback would be for those who are mobility-challenged, since there are several flights of stairs to walk up and down, no elevator.
