Bayards Cove Inn

Great Location, located by lower ferry, room in period setting in keeping with furnishings, quality bedding, Amazing is it gonna rain farm house cooked breakfast, Slig tha Slightly noisy in the late evenings, but earplugs are provided if required. This is the yellow stone.

Ate in the restaurant on a Sunday night. The waiting staff were extremely polite and helpful, despite their being on shift from 9am (it was 8.30pm) on what must have been a busy summer day. The food was good as was the wine. Nice quiet vibe which suited us. Thank you.

We stayed in the Mountbatten room which was furnished lovely and could see the sea from side window. The breakfast was very good choice and quality and the staff were all very attentive and polite. The downside was when the website states you may get some noise from adjoining rooms, this is because the adjoining room is kitchen which is open from breakfast time until the restaurant shuts in the evening, We may have been unlucky but we heard a lot of noise. In the bathroom you can here every word that is being said in the kitchen,which is a bit disconcerting!! It is a lovely place in a great position and we would return but felt that for the high room rate we would choose a quieter room next time.

We had lunch here during an Easter Holiday break. The staff were very attentive and especially kind to our two young children. The food was delicious and the portions were a really good size. The fish for the fish and chips was particularly delicious. We would definitely return.

We spent three nights here over Easter and had a wonderful time. Throughout our stay every member of staff who we interacted with was very friendly and we really appreciated how welcoming they were. The room itself was snuggly in all the right ways. The room was serviced/cleaned really well and we looked forward each day to our complimentary hot chocolates and biscuits. Breakfast each morning was also great and efficiently run - and while staying we had a friend and their parents come for coffee following breakfast which they enjoyed. All in all I’d definitely return - especially in the colder months, and would recommend!

The inn is adorable, rooms good quality and ALL the staff were so lovely. Very professionally presented establishment. Restaurant and food top notch. Even on departure we were presented with a goody bag for our journey home. Well done guys, you really nailed it.
