Premier Inn Dartford

Always a pleasure to come here, the staff is lovely, the room was clean and there were plenty of car park spaces when we arrived at 2am. We are looking forward to our next visit

I will not stay at this hotel again, i use Premier Inns because of my job. If it was up to me I would only use Holiday Inn Express hotels. This hotel has windows that do not open but guarantee fresh air being pumped in your room - what a crock! I had 2 nights disrupted because of my air conditioning being switched off by staff and waking up soaking in sweat. You call Reception, you complain to the Manager and you complain to Customer Services - don't bother! All in vain. Customer Services contacted the hotel and the staff denied all knowledge of my lack of sleep! I say to those members of staff, especially the Manager, shame on you for lying and I have instructed my employer not to book me in to this hotel again!

The hotel was nice, the staff was nice and everything was perfect. Had everything we needed for the stay. It was a lovely place to stay in.

The location and prices are great while saying that I have used this hotel for many years now and I have started to notice it is starting to get a little tired in places with a lack of attention in the following areas. The entrance area has a lot of rubbish/ detritus in flowerbeds near the door. A lot of pigeon droppings have accumulated over a long period of time just as you walk to the entrance door. Rooms: My first room which I hope had obviously not been inspected recently as it had a lot of mould on the ceiling above the bed which appeared to be from a previous water leak from the roof or pipe work in the attic area above. We were moved to another room which we found to be fine but did not have enough towels and had to again go to reception and ask. Beds, the mattresses on the beds do not appear to be as good a quality as previously, they seem to have changed. This is the first time my wife has not had a good nights sleep at a premier inn, the mattress felt it was sloping into the middle of the bed. When sitting on the end of the bed, I could feel the metal frame below which is something I have not experienced previously as I have always mattresses felt were very good quality but no longer unfortunately. Facilities in the room, they no longer have glasses in the rooms and have changed the ceramic mugs to glass ones which although slightly larger look cheaper. Staffing, they are always available and friendly when booking into the hotel and are happy to assist with any questions.

Pillows were flat, air conditioning did not work and a number of customers complained throughout my stay. I would not stay in this hotel again in the future.

Phoned before hand to check the hotel had air conditioning and was told it definitely did. Upgraded to a premium room. Got to our room on the hottest day of the year and the air conditioning was non existant. Window do not open and you could hardly breathe it was so hot. Phoned down to reception who said they could give us a fan. Great it did nothing. We were so hot we had no choice but to leave early. As we left we noticed lots of people had propped their doors open to get some air. Dangerous and unsafe but could understand their reasoning. Funnily enough the reception is freezing as the air conditioning seems to work absolutely fine in reception. Made a complaint and got a full refund from customer relations. This was thankful but we don't go away often and this stay ruined our night.
