Although perfectly acceptable for an overnight stay, there is no way this hotel is anything other than three star. No lift for a start, reception not manned overnight, no hotel facilities, just rooms. ”Boutique” just seems to be shorthand for small and dark. We knew the size of our room so that is not the issue, but it was fairly shabby and finding some tablets on the floor presumably left by the last guest wasn't great. Location is fantastic so if you just want a bed for the night it is fine, staff were friendly and helpful, but there are much better hotels around.

I stayed at the hotel for 2.5 weeks during one of the busiest times in Sydney. The rooms were cleaned daily. The staff exceptional. The manager on duty incredible. I had a few hiccups as any traveller would at any hotel but once mentioned by me to the staff they without hesitation went beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. It isn’t the most glamorous or biggest or even the most sophisticated place but it was perfect for a solo guy like me travelling in Australia for Mardi Gras and site seeing. Other friends of mine ran into numerous problems beyond my challenges at other big chain hotels but this little place kept me going and made me very happy. I’d return anytime. It’s location is perfect for site seeing and a overnight sleep or daytime nap. Thanks to all the staff there that were amazing. See ya again soon I hope!

We stayed here for one night. Room was fine, quite comfy but bathroom wasn't up to scratch. Looked like mould on the shower floor and all over the bottom of the shower curtain to the point where we didn't feel comfortable using the shower. Good location, staff were friendly and courteous. Parking can be tricky, but overall a pretty comfortable stay.

Sydney Boutique Hotel was the perfect place to stay for us during our 3-days visit in Sydney. The Hotel was really quite, our room had a big balcony, a kingsize bed and was comfortable. The hotel is located just a 5 min walk from the train station. We explored a lot of things (like the Australia Museum, the Sydney Eye and the shopping street) by walking, the location was super. And the staff was really friendly and helpful. They even postet my postcards for me.
