Stayed for 2 weeks for our honeymoon room 232. The first impressions were fantastic. Everything was very clean from the lobby, pool area, and room. The room was quite basic, no kettle, so if you're an early riser, be aware that you can't get a hot drink until breakfast at 7.30. The fridge had 2 bottles of water in when we arrived, and the fridge worked well. Bed was comfy and was actually a double not 2 singles pushed together. This was a big bonus for us. Lovely views from the balcony that was a good size. It had a small table and 2 chairs plus 2 larger chairs. There is a light above the doors to the balcony on a night it only lights one end and leaves the other end quite dark. The dark end is the end nearer the entertainment. Rooms were cleaned every day to a very good standard. There were a lot of sun beds available round the pool. However, there are not many umbrellas, and the ones that are there are fixed in place. These were normally reserved early, but you could always find a place to put beds if happy to be in the sun. The pool bar was close, and the queue was never very long. Soft drinks were on a help your self bases. The rest you had to order. The drinks that are included in all-inclusive were limited, and the prices for the other drinks seemed expensive compared to bars nearby. The staff at the pool bar came across as unfriendly and sometimes rude. The larger didn't seem to have any alcohol in it, I would be interested to see what % it actually is. The food was cooked to a good standard, and there was a lot of choice. Meats were mainly served in different sauces and styles depending on what night it was, eg. Bbq, Italian, Asian. If you are a fussy eater, the "basic" were repetitive, chips, salad, and spaghetti with 2 sauces to pick from. Breakfast had the same choices every day. However, there was a lot to pick from, and definitely had something for everyone. The snack bar had the best food in our opinion. The pizza was fantastic, and the giros were very good and made in front of you. There was also a large choice of sandwiches that could be toasted, hot dogs, popcorn, and a whippy style ice cream machine. In all, we enjoyed our holiday. However, we did feel it could have been made better or easier with a few small improvements like a kettle in rooms and an airer to hang swim wear, ect, outside to dry, option to upgrade to include all drinks. I would definitely say this a hotel better suited to families rather than couples.

Received an outdated room that didn’t reflect the pictures online. When I asked the front desk I was told no one could help me until the morning. The 4 other rooms of the family I was traveling with all received modern rooms that reflect the pictures they have posted online.

Mostly a fantastic holiday had by all. We loved Sirios village , rooms were kept clean to an extremely high standard. Beautiful location 10 min walk to the beach. Everyone at the hotel was very helpful and kind. Local busses are fine , we did a trip to Chania which was beautiful. We also had a day at a water park - great day had by all. Food was fab, so much choice and always different in evenings. Entertainment was great too. The only 2 downside's for us was there was no specific smoking areas, being non smokers it was extremely off putting when round the pool with my young child to have smoke constantly in our faces. I know this isn’t the hotel’s fault and is more about common courtesy of other guests, however a designated non smoking area would be useful. Also sun beds - crazy people were out at 6am to get the best spots! Understandable as everyone wants the specific spot, limited parasols that can’t be moved so it’s a rush to get them. We had a lovely time here and would recommend it. Thanks

Went for a destination birthday with a group of family and friends (over 30 of us.) The place is awesome. Beautiful environment, nice facilities, good food/drinks and other nibbles till 11 at night and great staff. I was in the suite with private pool (Suite 234) and it was a home away from home. Very spacious and well laid out with wifey and I in our own section and my daughter in hers, plus the mini sitting room and the terrace. The terrace was adjacent to the private pool, it had sufficient sun-beds provided (about 4) a table and parasol which was good for hanging out but we were spoilt for choices as just out our yard (I call it yard,) there were so many other places on site where we randomly hanged out. And back to facilities, the pools were lovely, there are 3 options. The restaurant is lovely with a wide range of food to choose from at each meal and different places to eat, some inside, some outside and some neither in or out (just in the middle somewhere.) And in one angle they had a place to play table-tennis and in another, there was a place to play football and yet another, a place to play volley ball and I think lawn tennis. I did not see the lawn tennis court but heard about it. These were in different location so if you are keen, you've got to ask about. Also there is a sauna and a pool table which you also got to locate. So, the place is good. It is very good. The location is also perfect and the town quite accessible (read other reviews.) I can write a lot more for this review but as they are all positives, it may sound too good to be true but the long and short is , Sirios Village Hotel & Bungalows is a nice place to stay and I highly recommend it without reservation. Last but not the least, kudos to all staff and a big shout out to Sophia, Kiki & Vasiliki at Reception, a shout out to the kids chaperone who organised the evening dance and kept them occupied during the day (it was obvious that the kids loved being with her,) the head chef (busy busy man, you've got to call him out to see him,) the guys at the bar i.e. the one near the swimming pool - great lads are, the cleaners and bell man/boy (suite was always tidy) and also a shout out to Antonnes, Lefereeris in the restaurant. I and my crew, we appreciate you all and look forward to seeing you again in the nearest future.

Me , my wife , my sister and brother-in-law came to stay at hotel Sirios village at the beginning of June for a 10 night stay , first impressions were very good the hotel reception area was very clean and tidy bright and welcoming . The reception staff were excellent and very helpful. Then we were taken to our apartments which we expected to be together as it was a group booking but they weren't 261 and 274 .To be fare they weren’t far apart so didn’t complain the rooms were of a decent standard and very clean but the tv was useless as it only had one English Channel and the was news.the air con unit was poor and very week if you had a wash in the bathroom and filled the sink or had the shower on to fast the water css as me up through the drain in the floor and soaked the bathroom floor. The restaurant had an excellent mixed menu but unless you got your food early or just after it was put out it was a little cold but quality wise was great. Our biggest let down was the only bar the pool bar as the selection of all inclusive drinks were very limited, the local beer on offer tasted fine but for the most part lacked any fizz. Apart from the one bar staff member who seemed to be the oldest one and most cheerful one the rest struggled to crack a smile . The night time entertainment was also limited . Night time noise was an issue for us due the children running round the outside area near the pools shouting and screaming whilst the parents sat on the sofas drinking and chatting. Yes I know people are in the holiday having fun but some respect for other people wouldn’t have gone a miss. During the day time the pool areas were excellent and for the most part had plenty of sun beds available if you got up early with your towels to get a got spot lol . We still had a wonderful time on our holiday on the lovely island of Crete in 40 degrees. Chania is a beautiful city and the nest by beach’s are brilliant . Only spoke to 4 British people all tens day at the hotel the rest of the guest’s were from all over the globe .

Brilliant resort, amazing staff and so close to the beach. The restaurant captain Nikos really went above and beyond for us, bringing us flowers to our tables lunch and dinner, as well as bringing us drinks and being an all around gentleman. Really made our visit!

Honest review. Two adults and two kids and we had room 227. We paid for a private pool and wow the terrace was that big it had two recliners, two sun beds and 4 normal chairs and a table and still had loads of room round the pool. It also had the sun on it all day. The room itself had two bathrooms and plenty of storage space and was very comfortable and big enough for a family of 4. As for the pools they were nice and always had sunbeds free at all times of the day. Good selection of depths for young and old. The food was lovely every single meal. I really don't understand the complaints about it. Plenty of choice and all tasted lovely. Kids especially loved the special made pancakes at breakfast. We loved the Asian and Mexican themed nights. Drinks were OK but limited. Staff were all friendly and when needed very prompt and professional. On site shop had all you need and water was very cheap, 12 bottles of for 3 euro. The entertainment was ok with the band really good and we could have listened to them all night. The beach is around a 10 mins walk but you do have to cross a busy road you need to be careful on. Once there it's lovely sandy beach and even the shallow sea waters had fish swimming around you. The place was also kept very clean and tidy and had a great family vibe. The cleaners were excellent and the one doing our room was especially so. We had a fantastic time and wouldn't hesitate booking the same place again. However it wouldn't be a fair review if I didn't point a few issues we had. They were minor issues for us but for some it might bother them more. The shower leaked all over when used. Easily fixed as it was just the seal on the screen as it didn't meet the bath. We fixed it ourselves by wedging a towel in it. Also room 227 has a big bush over the terrace which attracted a lot of bees which don't bother you but they do fly around you all the time. It was constantly shedding too making some bees drop to the floor which atracted ants. It could do with being cut back a bit. On a separate note wasps had made home in our room gate and as I found out, when I shut it, are aggressive as I was stung on the back of the head. Reported to reception and within 5 mins someone turned up and dealt with them. As mentioned the drinks are limited with only three cocktails available and no mocktails for the kids unless you paid 5 euros but there was hardly ever a queue at the bar though as the wine and soft drinks are self service. Also room wi-fi was a bit patchy in our room.
