If this place had a restaurant, it would be a 5 star hotel at 4 star price. Their customer service at reception is incredible. The place is very quiet, and has a pool that is beautiful, needs to be cleaned more, but is mostly good. Its a high demand hotel, book in advance

Booked 4 nights, but checked out after a single one. Location is excellent, staff friendly and while the room was decent, unfortunately it wasn't clean enough: There were stains on both pillows, one was definitely a blood stain. Also bed sheet had other stains. - Previous guest had left a big bunch of hair in the shower which no-one had bothered to clean up. - Breakfast starts at 07:30. This is ridiculous for a hotel. And some of the food wasn't even ready until 08:00. Also be ware that this hotel does not have a restaurant. You could order your food on e.g. the PIKI app. If the cleanliness was addressed, I would say this hotel offers good value for money. Red blood stains on a pillow can under no circumstances be tolerated, even from a cheapish hotel.

A good, clean and comfortable hotel which is great value for money. I enjoyed using the pool and was very glad to have a kettle in my bedroom. TV was large & had Fire Stick so I could steam my favourite programmes. Shower great- quite a squeeze between toilet and door though. Buffet breakfast very good although servers were not very proactive- you need to ask for tea, eggs etc. the restaurant is only open for breakfast, so no opportunity for food at any other time which I hadn’t appreciated when booking.

I booked this place last minute to hang out with Bae and I had a great experience from the minute I walked in. It doesn’t look like a hotel but more apartment block but we’ll maintained. I was met downstairs by a young guy who checked my booking then took my bags and brought me upstairs to reception. Walking to reception, I was greeted by 3 staff members, all super sweet and friendly. I was given juice and checked in smoothly. I loved my apartment. So clean and spacious and super bright. I loved the breakfast, they had everything available even dinner type of food for breakfast so very filing. My favourite part of staying here was the hospitality service I received from all the staff. I had to go get some supplies ( alcohol) and the guy who bought me to reception made sure I got a piki piki to my destination and bought back safely, that was sweet :-) They must get praise and credit because my stay was very comfortable because of them. I will definitely stay here again :-)

Twice in less than 5 weeks the hotel cancelled my confirmed *********** bookings with a mere phone call; the explanations were thin veiled and caused chaos in my travel plans. Their booking system is not in sync with *********** or other online booking systems causing undue stress in planning and organizing a trip; never trust the confirmed notices unless you have received their sad calls.

I stayed at the Pauraque Soho Hotel twice. The staff is extremely friendly and their service exquisite. I enjoyed their breakfast every morning, all this for such an affordable price. The rooms are clean and disinfected, bed linens and towels are changed everyday. I had nothing but praises for this well hidden gem in Mikocheni. If you are looking for an excellent hotel at such an affordable price, the Pauraque Soho is your best bet.
