I spent 2 nights on a business trip and 1 night on a personal trip. The establishment is good, a little old but with impeccable service and charming employees.
The breakfast buffet deserves to be improved, however.

The room is damp, the clothes can't be dried after three days of washing, the sun can't shine, and the so-called interior scene can't be seen, the room is clean. The room size is also ok. The seafood in Karambezi restaurant is good, the desserts are also good, the environment is good, and you can see the sea for breakfast! The swimming pool is also clean, the gym equipment is okay, the service from the waiters is good, and there is a beach next to it. If you bring your family, you must watch the sea. It's amazing. You can listen to the sea at night and watch the sea during the day , breakfast and dinner can see the sea

The location is far from the city center, and the price is relatively cheap. Outside the hotel are relatively shabby areas, but the overall development level of Tanzania is also average, so there are not many really good areas. Hygienic conditions are average, and tablecloths in the restaurant are stained. In general, the level of domestic express hotels is okay, but it is not recommended for high living conditions.

We had a wonderful time at the Mediteranneo hotel. Very well located next to the ocean, romantic atmosphere, a tasty restaurant and clean rooms. The staff is very helpful and friendly. It was a pleasure to have Flaviana tidy up our room. She is discrete, works really well and always brings a bit of sun into to the room with her smile.

Good hotel. A little ”tired” but overall ok. It was quite humid in the room. The staff is polite and friendly. I would not live here for a long time, for 1-2 days it will do.

The staff were very pleasant, helpful and always doing their best to make the guests comfortable. The rooms were very cozy and clean, with working TV, mini fridge and aircon. The toilets were very clean and sanitized and towels also smelled like they have been washed well. I liked that the hotel was in the middle of the city with close access to a variety of important places, restaurants and shopping. What i didn't like though was that there was a lot of noise around my room as cleaning staff were busy cleaning other rooms and making lots of noises and banging doors. Also i was in a non smoking room and i could smell smoke coming from other rooms. I asked for reception to change my room, which they did.

The Best Western CBD Hotel in Dar es Salaam is highly recommended. The staff welcomed us kindly upon check-in and were very helpful in resolving any issues that followed. Located in the city center, it is convenient for meetings and is also suitable for taking the ferry to Zanzibar. It is good value for money and the meals are also decent.

SSurasak HompimolpornThe hotel is in the city but not very busy. Breakfast has a lot to choose from, clean rooms, rooftop restaurant tastes good. Overall, the price is reasonable.
GGuest UserArrived and told the room does not have inside toilet. That cost $10 usd extra. So I got the better room, which is a great room. Has 2 tv but none work and haven’t work in a while. There are no facilities. You are in the middle of a urban jungle.
Noise from outside water pump keeps you up all night.
Wont stay there again.
GGuest UserRelatively middle-priced hotel in dar, room is large with large bed and separate toilet and shower. Staff are nice. First day of arrival the air conditioner was not working and they immediately asked someone to fix. And the restaurant was good in my expectation, it closes at 11pm and I can still order food at 1030pm. The only improvement is that the WiFi is poor, almost no connection in my room.
GGuest UserI spent one night in the Chelsea Hotel to do some sightseeing in Dar and it was very good for that purpose. The hotel was a little bit dated, but otherwise completely up to the standards which I expect from a hotel. It's located not far from the clock tower, which to my understanding pinpoints the centerpoint of the city. The actual sights I went to see started further away, about 20 minutes by foot. The room was adequate in size and had good aircon. I had a twin room. I first tried sleeping in the bed further away from the aircon, but the air blew directly there, so I had to move to the bed right under the aircon unit. The hotel was located close to a busy road and the honking of the cars could be heard up to the sixth floor. However it wasn't bad. The breakfast was ok. It didn't have a very wide selection, but the items I tried were tasty and of good quality. Also the setting in the restaurant was pleasant. The only negative I have to say is the extraorbitant exchange rate. I had paid my room rate in advance, but I had to pay the city tax (1.50 USD) at the hotel. I asked to pay in Tsh and had to pay 7000 Tsh, equivalent to about 3$. My loss was only 1.50$, so it wasn't a big deal in my case, but the principle left a bad taste in my mouth. If the room rate would have been 1.50$ higher but the city tax 3500 Tsh, I would have left as a happy customer. The hotel offered airport transfer for 42000 Tsh. It was quite pricy. The fixed price at the official taxi stand at the airport was 30000 Tsh. On the way back to the airport I used a rideshare app to get my transfer, it cost Tsh 12000.
AAnonymous UserI enjoy my stay at Euro hotel the place is smart and quiet. The food is good and the staff are very much welcome especially the girl by the name Alice at the reception, she is very much welcoming and very sociable. She is a very good character. The only thing that needs to be improved is DStv channels on TV ,I like soccer so much that I need to have DStv next time I visit.
BBrandi from TexasThis location is for the view, location and the service, as all were great. The hotel is dated and needs maintenance, but for the price and location- it’s a deal. Nearby hotels are $100-300/night. Breakfast was just okay. The chicken burger and beef samosas were tasty from the restaurant.
NNASSER-EDDINE BEN DAOUDThe hotel's room is comfortable : there is an air conditioner that works very well. Every thing is clean especially the toilets. The bed is smooth and the T.V is interesting to watch. What I liked mostly about the hotel is their hospitality and service. A good place to stay in Dar Es Salaam. ❤❤❤
GGuest UserWith a ”nice space” to move around in the room where there was also ”a good selection” of news & movie channels on the TV, it was a pretty comfortable stay at this place and where added to the comfort was the convenience of the ”rooftop restaurant” where apart from the breakfast (which was a ”nice omelette” one) was where I also ate most of my lunches & dinners during my stay (some varieties of biryani available). And yes, also of convenience ”around this hotel” are a number of mini-groceries, a big wet-market-like place kind of semi-outdoor with open sides, a small streetside ”fully indoor” restaurant (not directly around here but just at like one block away and yes which likely is not the only one in the vicinity of this place), the bus office for the Kilimanjaro Express bus (about a block away where I got on my bus to Arusha pretty early in the morning), and a hospital for the PCR test (about a 5-minute walk after first registering on the website of the Tanzania Ministry of Health and paying at the bank which is also nicely located at like across the street from this hotel).
GGuest User+ close to the ferry terminal + nice view from the window + quiet area + spacious room + good breakfast + good value for money + helpful staff + hot water + good Wi-Fi - bathroom looks old and neglected - a bit old bathroom - luke warm water - shower head to replace
