Established in 2022, Beyul is a transliteration from Tibetan, which originates from the mysterious holy place hidden in the Tibetan valley by Master Padmasambhava. Inspired by this, Beyul tribute to the natural field that opens up spiritual wisdom and inner strength, creating spaces and products that are closely related to the ecology, community, and culture of Tibet. Beyul Tawo is located in Zhari Village, Daofu County, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province, which is known as the " City of Tibetan Dwellings in China". Adjacent to Xianshui River Nature Reserve, it has a geographical advantage of rich forest and biodiversity. The Daofu residential buildings are mainly built in the style of "Bangke", and the mortise and tenon joints of wooden columns have the characteristics of toughness and seismic resistance. The construction process includes multiple local handicraft categories such as carpentry, carving, painting, and sculpture. On the basis of abandoned residential buildings, Beyul has renovate the building by hiring a local woodworking team and following traditional construction methods. Beyul Inn has recently opened and we feel very lucky to have been their first foreign guests. The whole valley is breathtakingly beautiful and a wonderful place to sit, watch the clouds and relax. We were made to feel so welcome and our hosts were especially kind when my husband had altitude sickness. They were able to cater to a vegetarian diet and the food was varied and delicious. We loved meeting the resident kitten and the naughty yak who occasionally poked his nose through the door to say hello! Walking to the ancient castle nearby was a highlight. The shower was brilliantly hot and the beds are very comfortable- we slept so well. I cannot recommend Beyul Inn highly enough and can’t wait to visit again. Thank you for everything.

The scenery outside the window of the B&B is incomparably beautiful, and the owner is also very enthusiastic. I stayed in the view room for two nights, and it was wonderful to just watch the beautiful scenery quietly. The owner also helped contact the jungle horseback riding, and took the guide to pick mushrooms~ I really like it ~ super fun ~ highly recommended! My son said that this is his favorite part of this trip~

A great homestay experience! We arrived at night, and the boss said that the road might be difficult to drive at night and came down to help us drive. He introduced us to the local wooden structure house culture very enthusiastically. The next morning, he opened the curtains and was completely shocked by the scenery outside the window! It turns out we live in such a beautiful mountain! The omelettes for breakfast are very good, and eating hot pot facing the mountains at noon may be an experience that many people have never had before in Western Sichuan! I highly recommend everyone to stay here for one night if passing through Daofu! The boss came back from studying in Switzerland to develop his hometown. It’s like a real-life version of going to a windy place, haha. There are also two particularly cute Xiu Gou Gou and cats! All in all, it left us with very deep and beautiful memories of our trip to western Sichuan!
