Yading Lanyond Hotel

The room was exceptionally clean, with underfloor heating, hot water, and diffused oxygen supply. From the hotel window, you can see the snow-capped mountains of Xiannairi and Yangmaiyong. At night, the snow-capped mountains are set against the Milky Way, filling the sky with stars like diamonds. As a starry sky photography enthusiast, the biggest convenience is that I can capture the sunrise over the golden mountains and the starry sky from my hotel window, without having to venture out into the wild. The hotel owner was also incredibly warm and attentive. Breakfast was a buffet with a wide variety of options. The hotel also has a restaurant right in front of Yading Village. I heard we'll be able to enjoy yak beef hotpot there in the future. I'm really looking forward to it. If you love the grandeur of snow-capped mountains and love to slow down and savor the beauty of time, this hotel will definitely not disappoint you.

The Snow View Room we stayed in was such a pleasant surprise! Opening the window, we were greeted by the breathtaking sight of snow-capped mountains. The world, shrouded in snow, felt like a fairytale. Sitting by the window, sipping tea and admiring the snow was truly the most soothing moment of our trip. Even more thoughtfully, the room was equipped with an oxygen concentrator, eliminating any concerns about altitude discomfort and allowing for a restful sleep. The device was easy to operate and delivered a stable oxygen supply, making it incredibly user-friendly and safe for first-time high-altitude travelers like us. The room itself was also very comfortable, with ample heating and thick bedding, making it exceptionally warm on cold, snowy days. The attention to detail was so thoughtful, even including a humidifier, which kept us from feeling dry at all. The staff even made a point of checking if the oxygen concentrator was available, which was incredibly thoughtful. Combining stunning snow views with thoughtful amenities like this truly made for a comfortable and reassuring stay. I'd love to stay here again!

The room was absolutely stunning. In the morning, I could see the sun setting over the mountain peaks from the window. Yading Village is small, but there's a supermarket. But the advantage of staying in the village is that you can get up the mountain earlier the next day. It's right next to the station, so you can save time going up. You don't have to wait in line for the bus back down. The breakfast was also excellent. The entire staff was very welcoming and attentive. Our itinerary was a bit rushed, so we didn't complete the long route. I'll stay here again next time.

Located within the Daocheng Yading Scenic Area, this hotel is a diffused-type hotel, so you don't have to worry about oxygen deprivation. If you stay in Shangri-La Town, after purchasing your ticket at the visitor center, you'll still need to take the scenic bus for an hour to reach the area (driving is not allowed, so you have to take the scenic bus). However, staying in Yading Village saves you the hour-long morning bus ride, so I highly recommend staying there and heading directly to the scenic area after breakfast. The hotel breakfast is rich in variety, and afterward, you'll be fully motivated to hike the Diamond Line.

We stayed in two hotels in Daocheng Yading Scenic Area this time, and I really recommend this one! The rooms are stunning, and the value for money is incredible! The hotel is right inside Daocheng Yading Scenic Area, with oxygen supply throughout the room, and snow-capped mountains outside the window. There's also a shuttle that takes us to the entrance of the scenic area, eliminating the need for a bus, a service not available at other hotels. The front desk manager, Zhao, and our driver, Dawa, were incredibly kind and welcoming, providing exceptional service. They helped with our luggage and brought us breakfast. Whether it was the service or the room itself, it was a truly wonderful experience.
