Yalu River Hotel Reviews

This hotel is perfect for those who, like us, were arriving & leaving by train, and wanted to be close to the river & the broken bridge, as it's around halfway between the two. The room itself was a little dated, but staff were friendly & the price was very reasonable for a last minute booking during the holidays.

Alright location but not as close to the river as the name suggests. There's no river view. Taxis had difficulty coming into the hotel lobby. The hotel is a bit old but maintained okay. The fader on the reading light didn't work. They gave us only two pillows for a Queen bed. On the plus side they have put in those great japanese style toilets with heated seats. Nice touch.

Very nice hotel in a very good location. The train station is very close on foot. The rooms are a little bit outdated but very clean.

Located right next to a very pretty ginkgo tree park. The hotel stay was good and our room was clean. Staff were able to answer our questions and everyone was friendly. The parking lot is big and secure.

Room was excellent. Breakfast was okay but not amazing. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again if we come back. The executive room was perfect for a family with 2 adults and 4 children. I had requested a non-smoking room and they gave me one. It did not smell smoky at all.

It is a good choice to stay at Wanxin Zhige when traveling in Dandong. It is convenient to go to Gaoli Street for dinner and Broken Bridge for sightseeing. The hotel is slightly older in facilities, but it is fully functional, with good service and convenient parking.

The room is decorated in an old style. It was really good 20 years ago, and the exterior wall is still not outdated. But after all, it is old, and the hardware needs to be renovated, such as the drainage is not smooth. To promote the G331 National Highway, don't just stay in words, there should be some practical things. Except for the signboard, nothing else can be found, which is not good!

It's a very old hotel. The quadruple room is the living room of the suite, which has not been repainted. The walls are not good to look at, very old, and the bed is also very simple. The bathroom is dark and not clean. I stayed there for two nights. Fortunately, the service was OK. The front desk was very polite and the breakfast was very rich. This is a compliment. It's close to the train station, but it's still a little way from the river. It's OK if you don't have high requirements.

The room is quite big, with a laundry room. I happily washed a bunch of clothes. The curtain rod in the bathroom can hang 10 pieces of clothes, which is convenient! The hotel is a long-established Sino-foreign joint venture hotel, and it is also a check-in hotel at the 0 km mark of G331 National Highway. The ginkgo trees outside the gate are already slightly yellow, and autumn in the north is approaching; the breakfast is OK, it is a 5-minute walk from Dandong Station, and it takes less than ten minutes to ride a bicycle to the Yalu River. It is highly recommended
