Venice Jianguo Hotel

The location is good and the environment is OK, but the room I was assigned was the room at the edge. It was very cold. It was 13 degrees when I entered the room. The bed was icy cold. The central air conditioner was turned on for an hour and it was only 15 degrees. Then the waiter brought me a heater, and I had to fool around for a night. The air conditioner was turned on for an hour or two and it only rose 1-2 degrees.

I booked this hotel because of the Jianguo brand. It's an old hotel. The check-in, check-out and room staff are very warm and considerate. The room is very spacious, and the window can directly see the neighboring country on the other side. The scenery is great! The overall hygiene is very good. The only drawback is that there are some obvious blood stains on the bath towels, and there are some stains on the sheets, but it can be seen that they have been washed. If these details can be avoided, this hotel is perfect!

As an old large hotel, Dandong Venice Jianguo Hotel has slightly old but classic facilities, a superior geographical location, professional and enthusiastic service staff, and considerate service, especially the lady serving room service. She keeps the room clean and tidy, replaces supplies in a timely manner, and is very warm, making people feel at home.

The hotel is located on Moon Island, with a nice environment and a comfortable stay. You can see the river view and North Korea. You can walk downstairs to the riverside and enjoy the river breeze at night. There are also newly opened foot massage and spa on the island, and the breakfast is also good

This is the second time I stayed at Venice Jianguo Hotel in Dandong, just because it is on Moon Island~~ Facing the river, facing North Korea, with beautiful environment, fresh air, and a strong artistic atmosphere on the island. There are art galleries and the most artistic cafe in Dandong. The hotel rooms and services are good! I got off the high-speed rail in the afternoon and came to the hotel to rest very relaxed. It is particularly worth mentioning that the hotel's breakfast is rich, with both Chinese and Western food, mainly delicious, and fresh ingredients. There are big shrimps every day🍤! The wonton stew, noodles, and freshly boiled chicken soup are delicious! In short, because the hotel is comfortable, the three-day trip to Dandong is particularly pleasant! In early summer, the Yalu River is breezy and cool, and I will go again.

First of all, I would like to thank Ctrip for helping me to change from a hotel with no water supply to this hotel in a timely manner, and also waived the room rate difference. The check-in experience was still very good. The room was large and well located, right next to the small bridge, with an excellent view. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel staff I met were very friendly and patient. There are still some disadvantages: the bathroom has a bit of odor; the toilet flush handle is a bit unresponsive (it takes several attempts to succeed); the window glass is relatively dirty (I can't take pictures outside through the glass); the air conditioner is on the warm air but it blows cold air (maybe I shouldn't turn on the warm air now? It's really a bit cold)
