Xilamuren Mongolian Prairie Resort

I took a taxi as shown on the map, but was told that it was not reserved. When I contacted them, I was told that it was a little far from here. When I got there, the staff gave me the key and guided me to the ger where I was staying. It was a twin room. The heating was not working well and the whole room did not get warm. The shower room and toilet were separated by a door, so it was very cold. The futon was thin, so I used two futons and slept wrapped up in them, but it was still cold. I was told that there was a banquet, but the restaurant was closed all the time, so I survived for two days with food from the souvenir shop. I had a valuable experience of taking a short walk on the grassland and riding a horse. The conversation with the person who supported me on the horse riding was a little unpleasant. Most of the people were on a tour, and there were fireworks at night. When I went outside in the middle of the night, the stars were beautiful. No amenities were replenished. Even though it was not the day of check-out, the staff's uncle and aunt knocked on the door every morning while I was sleeping.

It's hard to describe, the door is hard to lock, there's trash on the floor, the TV is broken, the toilet smells, they only have liquor, but they don't bother to pay attention to customers when they arrive. The only advantage is that there is air conditioning and hot water, and the surrounding grassland feels good. I won't come next time.

The room is nice, with Mongolian style, and the viewing platform is worthy of its name. The only drawback is that it rained again, so we couldn't ride horses

The place we navigated to was called Sun's Tribe. The store contacted us and sent us a new location called Hanatala. The stay was good, but the staff shouted "Money is coming" to the front desk as soon as we entered the door, which was very uncomfortable. I looked at the menu and it was basically three times the price in the city.

The viewing yurt is in a great location, sitting west and facing east, just in time to watch the sunrise on the grassland. The boss and his wife are hospitable, forthright and friendly. Although the season here is the off-season, the grass on the grassland is not green yet, but fortunately, it was a sunny day and I got a taste of the vast Xilamuren!

First of all, the room smelled very badly of sewers and was very damp. One room had no hot water and pillows, and one room had garbage left by the previous customer. We went there for the bonfire party, and the host sold torches for 40 minutes, sang 2 songs, and then it was over. Overall, the experience was not good. If all resorts in Xilamuren are like this, who would go there again? Is it all a one-time business?
