The yurts are a modern twist on the traditional yurts, these are more like hotel suites with a bathroom and separate shower within the yurt, a good feature if you are not looking for the authentic yurt experience. The drive to the grounds is very rural and you will drive past beautiful countryside scenery. within the grounds itself there isnt much to do, the owner will take you to neighbouring yurt hotels for bonfire, music and dance shows. On our drive back to Hohhot saw many other yurt complexes with more amenities (I don't know what the price difference is) and can't complain about the service, staff were very helpful and kind.

Management and workers are really friendly. We were upgraded on arrival.
But….we got sick from the food and the area around the yurts is not kept clean. They also work on commission from the horse riding so will push that hard.
The late night disco isn’t great for kids who want to sleep.
Hot water was “inconsistent” and we came in summer to give it the best chance to heat up!

The place we navigated to was called Sun's Tribe. The store contacted us and sent us a new location called Hanatala. The stay was good, but the staff shouted "Money is coming" to the front desk as soon as we entered the door, which was very uncomfortable. I looked at the menu and it was basically three times the price in the city.

The viewing yurt is in a great location, sitting west and facing east, just in time to watch the sunrise on the grassland. The boss and his wife are hospitable, forthright and friendly. Although the season here is the off-season, the grass on the grassland is not green yet, but fortunately, it was a sunny day and I got a taste of the vast Xilamuren!

First of all, the room smelled very badly of sewers and was very damp. One room had no hot water and pillows, and one room had garbage left by the previous customer. We went there for the bonfire party, and the host sold torches for 40 minutes, sang 2 songs, and then it was over. Overall, the experience was not good. The lamb chops were delicious and the horseback riding was fun. The weather was not very good in the morning, but it was still beautiful with blue sky and white clouds after it cleared up.
