Loved loved our stay! We were only there three nights but could happily have stayed longer. We booked last minute and the owner kindly squeezed us in - the owners are incredibly helpful and kind. Sitting at breakfast or having a drink before going out the views over the river are heaven. Watching all the boats or people swimming in the river it’s just so relaxing. Very easy walk into town with great food options. Breakfast was delicious too!

Location was exceptional - view off the back deck where breakfast was served had a boat dock and off in the distance a fantastic view of ruins/tombs up on the far hill that was also lit up at night. Easily walkable to plenty of restaurants & shops. If you rent a boat to tour the lake and river they will pick you up right at the hotel. The hotel owner was delightful and spoke perfect English so it was easily to get help. Lots of shady outdoor places to sit and relax. Breakfast was very good too. We highly recommend hiring your own boat in town at the marina for the day to tour the beach, the reeds where parts of the African Queen were filmed, go to the mud baths & more. There is also a very nice Hamman/Spa in town by the marina.

The view from this place is just magical. The rooms are simple but clean. Nothing much to write home about but the garden and its views are just amazing! Definitely recommend if you want to explore the waters. Just ask the host to arrange a private tour with captain Ali. He made sure we had an amazing day.

The place has such a beautiful spacious, garden with lots of shady space to relax. The deck is right on the river with the famous tombs serving as a backdrop. The owners are very kind and go out of their way to help. It’s easy to take a river taxi to Turtle Beach directly from their deck. We loved it. It’s a very special spot.

Münir Bey ve eşi çok sıcak, cana yakın, babacan ve ilgili idiler. Mekan çok temiz ve ulu ağaçların koyu gölgesi çok dinlendirici, huzur verici idi. Dere ve karşısındaki Kral Mezarları manzarası muhteşemdi. Münir Bey'in yetiştirdiği kuşlar çok sevimli idiler. Aile odası 4 kişi için yeterli büyüklükte idi.

We leave Happy Caretta Hotel, which we came to as a last-minute decision upon the recommendation of a friend of ours, with great memories and a rested soul. During the day, you can sit by the lake against the King Tombs, or you can take a tour of Iztuzu Beach or the bay with the boats that take you in front of the hotel. .. You can visit the Dalyan bazaar and swim in the lake. But most likely you will not want to leave Happy Caretta Hotel during the day like us and you will spend peaceful hours here. The rooms are immaculate and cleaned every day. The breakfast was varied and very tasty. Dinner is not included, there are many beautiful places in the bazaar, you can evaluate them. We would like to thank Münir Bey and İlknur Hanım for their hospitality, thanks to them, we now have a family in Dalyan, see you next time :)

Otelin konumu güzel ama bu kadar güzel bir konumda bir yerin bu kadar ters,saygısız ve suratsız bir kişi tarafından yönetilmesi çok üzücü. Geldiğimiz andan itibaren asık bir suratla karşılandık ve tatilimize başlar başlamaz modumuzu düşürdü biz güleryüzlü olmamıza rağmen. Tekneler hakkında soru sorduğumuzda ters ters cevaplar aldık sebepsiz bir şekilde . Kendisinin mizacı bu şekilde olabilir ama misafirlerin para ödeyip tatil için bu otele geldiğini bilmesi gerekiyor ve buna göre düzgünce davranması gerekiyor. Birdaha gelmeyi düşünmüyoruz aynı fiyata çok daha güzel hizmet veren yan oteller var bu otelin yanında,o otelleri tercih edeceğiz.
