Absolutely wonderful holiday at the BC Spa, wonderful staff, nothing too much trouble from the staff at reception to the maids who were always happy and friendly. The best spa treatments so if in Daylan go and see the fabulous staff downstairs in the spa and get a few treatments booked in, you will feel so fresh and relaxed. Already booking next years holidays to the Spa, great value great location what’s not to adore ❤️

This is a beautiful hotel however it lets itself down as it is filthy and the breakfast food is such poor quality. The main dining room is not laid up and dirty plates are left. There is often no staff in there. At one point I called a member of staff over and said you should be cleaning the tables. He was at that point just about to sit down and eat his own breakfast. He picked up a tablecloth white the table down with it shook it and put it back down again. Most of the food is either uncovered or covered with flimsy clingfilm it looks as if the jams And tahini is put back in the fridge and bought out again the next day. The top of the serving area was absolutely thick with dust. On the last day a member of staff was collecting his breakfast with a cigarette in his left hand as the photograph will show. The quality of the breakfast food was dreadful. I’m not a fussy eater, but on several days I declined to go for breakfast. On several occasions, we picked up plates for breakfast and they were chipped. Some were dirty. Some add water sitting on them. The rooms were cleaned very late and at one point we had to ring reception at 3:45 in the afternoon to ask when we were getting our rooms cleaned as we were waiting for clean towels. The tables out by the pool were filthy. Often dirty plates or towels were left for a couple of days, the walkway to the pool shower was filthy and the shower itself was green and filthy The majority of the staff couldn’t care less just didn’t seem to bother. We spoke to a manager who said they’re struggling to get any staff and they can’t get any decent staff. However, there was always a glut of staff sitting around reception doing nothing. We could not sit on the patio as the view was blocked by tables and chairs piled high.

Restaurant review, not hotel. Ate at the BC SPA restaurant located on the riverside. Agreed with manager, nice older man night before to book a table for 7 the next night. Arrived, not many people at restaurant, provided water quickly but didnt take actual drinks order until 20 minutes later along with main meals. Ordered Adana kebab, Pide, chicken stroganoff, 2 x mushroom omelettes, filet steak and chicken snitzel. What we actually received was the Adana kebab, pide, 1 mushroom omelette and chicken stroganoff. Tried to give us a chicken curry with 2 lots of mushrooms. After people who received their meals finished, still no sign of the filet steak and mushroom omelette. Another 30 minutes went by and still no sign. Manager went off to see what was happening. The chicken snitzel was also raw (see photo) thus went over once more to speak about this to be told by another male that it is cooked medium. Not sure he realises chicken should not be provided raw. Paid for what we ate and the drinks. Felt sorry for the manager as the chefs were not able to cook simple meals and disorganised beyond belief. Will not return and no wonder there are no customers.

Following a visit to this hotel in 2020 we decided to re book for July 24. We ere very disappointed as the hotel has bceome very tired and run down. The hotel owners/management have clearly not spent any money on the upkeep of this property and it shows. It appeared they only had two cleaners for all the rooms and this was reflected in the poor level of housekeeping and cleanliness in the rooms and puiblc areas. I never saw anyone sweeping around the pool or keeping the area clean. Most of the staff are indifferent, particularly the reception staff, which is a real shame as this is your point of contact. We had an issue with our air con dripping into electrics in the iddle of the night which they dais was "ok". Evedntyally a maintenance person came to fix it, who was very nice and clearly has a list of tjhings that need fixing in the hotel. As someone who works in the travel industry, I understand you get what you pay for and this hotel is budget, but you do expect for it to be clean and for you to feel that the management/ownsers appreciate your business. The hotel is in an amazing position for the lovely resort of Dalyan, set on the river a very short walk, so it would be really nice if they either spent some time and money on bringing it back to where it was or sell it on to somewhere who will. There are other simialr prices hotels in Dalyan that will offer a much better experience.

Taken here for 2 nights when our EasyJet flight home was cancelled. A very quaint hotel, though a little tired. Room was adequate and AC worked well. Breakfast in their riverside dining area made very memorable by a visit from a Nile turtle 🐢. Hotel staff very knowledgeable about turtles. Spa area very good. Ample swimming pools and close to town centre. Relaxing atmosphere…would recommend.

The hotel is in a fantastic place on the riverside, close to shops, bars & restaurants. Is in a very quiet location, so not for the rowdy, lively people but great if you want a quiet holiday with great access from your room to the pools, as all within close proximity. Also no entertainment just the spa, but plenty going in close by. The room was lovely, had a fridge that worked when it decided to. Beds weren't to bad but could have had a few more pillows. Storage area for clothes was very good & the bathroom was huge with lovely smelling toiletries. Our room was at the back so our balcony was near the workman's area, it was very untidy & full of junk including a dogs kennel! But we did have one of the pools a few steps away from our door. As for housekeeping, non existent out room didn't see anyone for the days we were there & apparently we were not the only ones. Had to help ourselves to extra toilet rolls! The desk staff spoke very little English & would rather ignore you by looking busy, than actually deal with you. The breakfast was not great. Only tea or coffee available & no milk the first day & if you wanted fruit juice you needed to go to the bar & purchase first. Very Turkish breakfast with boiled eggs, meats, cheeses , none, to very little bread supplied. No cereals, fresh fruit or pastries/pancakes, no eggs cooked to order. The dining area was extremely hot with one Aircon unit mostly faced away from the dining area but more towards staff, if you could find one. We found out it has recently changed hands & that breakfast used to be a lot better with more choices. Can't comment on the bar as we didn't use that. Would I go back. For the location, yes but unless other things improved, I very much doubt it, especially when there are other hotels much cheaper in the area offering more.

We stayed due to an easyJet flight cancellation. Room was fine, and the pool was lovely. However, lunch arrived late and consisted of several spoonfuls of some stuff seemingly out of jars piled on a plate. No choice. No meat. No bread. Nothing hot (heaven forbid the concept of a few chips!!). The dining area was empty and outside was unkempt. We decided not to bother taking the gamble of eating dinner there later and found a lovely little burger bar around the corner. Well worth going elsewhere. On checkout (bills for extras will be refunded to me by easyJet and thus presumably the hotel views it as a cash cow), we were charged over £19 for three small bottles of water and one large one, and a cup of rancid cappuccino that I’d ordered from the pool bar (and then I was berated since I asked it to be added to the room bill…didn’t I know that it was cash only at the bar??? Er, how about no since there was no indication it would be!). Staff not particularly friendly. When I tried to pay via contactless, apparently there was a problem and the receptionist kept asking for cash, which I didn’t have as we should have been back in England anyway and had used up what we’d had before getting to Dalaman airport the night before. Eventually, he asked me to insert a credit card, holding the machine instead of doing what is normal practice of handing it over and looking away. My daughter told me afterwards that he was very interested in my PIN number, watching me put it in and mouthing the digits to himself. A couple of minutes later, he randomly asked what time my flight would be…lord only knows why he suddenly showed an interest. Surely not because I’d be unable to get updates of any unauthorised transactions whilst in flight mode. 😳🙄 Seemed a bit dodgy to me. Probably nothing in it. But I cancelled my card on the way to the airport just in case. Praise be for online banking. So, we can’t recommend the hotel based on this experience. Pity really, as it has potential and other customers have rated the place. But, I can only state what happened when we were there.. The staff really ought to try harder to work on their hospitality skills. As Les Dawson might quip - the staff couldn’t do enough for us, so they didn’t bother🤣🤣 Heaven only knows what Alex Polizzi or Gordon Ramsey would make of it all.

Due to our EasyJet flight being cancelled, EasyJet placed us at this hotel as it was nearer Dalaman airport. We were really impressed with the hotel, the staff were fantastic and very helpful and nothing was too much bother for them. The accommodation was excellent, the rooms were large and with a good ensuite. There were several pools which were surrounded by a small number of apartments, which meant they were easily accessible and quiet. Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 day stay at this hotel whilst we waited for our return flight. The only draw back was that as part of the all inclusive deal there was only one choice of menu for lunch and main meals which made it difficult for my daughter who is a vegetarian. A point to note that there are several bars and restaurants only a short walk from the hotel so would suggest going bed and breakfast and having your lunch and evening meal at the local bars and restaurants. Other than that I would thoroughly recommend the hotel and spa to anyone.
