Have stayed at Zaza Houston numerous times and service is always exemplary. Zaza Dallas once held the same high standards, but not anymore.
Upon check-in, I requested an upgrade and the was told by the lady at the front desk that the hotel was booked out. The room we were given smelled of mold/mildew, the mini fridge had open half empty bottles of wine inside and we had a lovely view of a large white tent. Out of curiosity, I checked the hotel website and multiple rooms were available the night of our stay and we were later informed by a hotel staff member that the hotel was only half full. I messaged the hotel to inform them of issues with room and was told I would be contacted shortly about room change. Never heard back from anyone. A hotel that once prided themselves on superior customer service needs to keep a closer eye on front desk employees at Dallas location.
