Motel 6 Dallas TX Downtown Reviews

Check in wax fast and efficient. Online rates greatly recommended, cheaper than checking in at moment of arrival. The place is located in the Market Center, close to downtown area. There is a Dennys cafeteria across the street an the freeway entrance nearby. There is plenty ty of parking space inside, no parking space on the street. The rooms are average size for a 2 full size beds. Restroom has hair dryer, bar soap (the one in our restroom was used...) Inside the toilet room there is also the shower and tub. Tub does not have a mat or any other slip resistant material, so be carefully as the tub material is very slippery. The room was clean, sheets were decent clean, so were the towels. Check out was also very efficient. Average place, we were looking for a place to stay one night,

Deposit for a night shouldn’t be charged for a night.

Easy as 123 I had no problems at all and I wisely advise anyone looking to book, they should use this because it’s literally a life saver and hassle free

When we booked through Trip.com, it stated breakfast would be offered for 2 guests. When we arrived, we couldn't find the restaurant. The front front desk said they didn't offer any breakfast. When we entered the room, it was filthy. The toilet had long and short hair. The shower curtain had boogers. The towel had ***** hair. The hair dryer was covered with sticky smudges. Every morning our room was filled with cigarette smell coming from the central AC vent. The hotel information on Trip.com was deceiving. We are not going back to that motel.

Old, a bit old. General sound insulation, the location is not bad, but it depends on the situation the most express hotels. I feel that it has been greatly affected by the epidemic, and the price can be cheaper.

The room was super clean , staff was amazing,especially the AM front desk girl. I’m not sure of her name, but she allowed me to check in early, which helped a lot as I was from out of town and had arrived a few hours before check in. Pool was very nice and the property overall exceeded my expectations of motel 6!

it was nice and clean i absolutely loved it , the staff was very respectful The rooms are very clean. I didn’t have to ask for anything. The beds were made up nice and the sheets were clean. Everything went well. I loved it. Absolutely I will go again.

The pool was the best part the city was the ghetto part the front desk lady was nice vending machine pricey they put the overnight guest outside and the monthly and week inside so wrong but oh well might b back smelled like cat piss outside I almost threw up nasty

Really bad smells outside and inside the room, very sketchy guests, dirty and ripped sheets and towels, dirty room and bathroom overall. Would never ever recommend. If you can please go somewhere else. Prioritize your safety and comfort.

Had stayed here last September and it was acceptable. This time however, it was dirty and smelly. Bed sheets were ripped, bathroom casings coming apart allowing an infestation of ants to crawl all over the bathroom. There is an issue with cockroaches which the manager denies..although many reviews report this. In fact, another guest told the manager about issues in his room with bugs. During the week of our stay, they were installing new a/c units in the rooms around the pool from 8.30am until 9.30pm some nights. The smell of urine around the pool is gross -obviously this area is never hosed down.The workers had music blasting all day. There are some long term residents who seem to have been corralled into the rooms at the rear of the premises. Most of the staff are miserable and unhelpful apart from one young lady on front desk and one housekeeper. Maybe it's a cultural thing. I was prepared to give the place a 2nd chance but the amount of roaches both in the bathroom and then in furniture and on bed grossed me out. They did offer to switch rooms but my gut feeling was it would be just as bad...judging by the way mine (and other's) complaint was handled, they are perfectly aware they have a problem but constantly deny it. It's cheap for a reason.

the worst place!! Stated with the staff the man who checked me in was so rude, the hallway smells like piss, the room was dirty, the bathroom door you have to lift up to close, there are roaches in the room and hallways, I hope I did not bring any home to California with me, I will very pissed if I did. Do not stay here!!! If I could give a -10 I would!!!!

Smaller hotel but very clean, the ACs work nice, the rooms are quiet and can be darkened, great prices and right around the corner from Medieval Times. The beds are a little harder than I'm used to, but lots of well lit parking and friendly staff.

During my stay the manager harry made sure my stay was pleasant and comfortable. He went above and beyond I would definitely recommend staying here especially when times get hard and u are travel with ur fur baby’s. They really make sure your ok

First of all, i had booked a non smoking room. When i entered the room which was designated as non smoking, the smell of smoke was overwhelming. I couldn't sleep the entire first night as the smell would not go away even with the window wide open. Cleanliness in the room is a joke. The sheets and towels ALL had stains in them and hair from other people, plus there are bugs. Matress and pillows are old und used. There is no breakfast and coffee is available only for a few hours in the morning.
