Dalian Villas

I've stayed at this location multiple times. It is a good location and I enjoy the house band in the pub (located in the basement). The Kempeski is definitely showing its ago, however. The marblework in the bathroom is cracked and some of the flooring is stained. The public bathroom (to the right of the lobby) is in desperate need of a makeover, i.e. recaulk the edges of the lavatory and do a deep steam cleaning of all tile. Breakfast was superb and the wait staff was doing a great job turning tables around for the next customers. I would probably stay again, but only if the prices are reduced.

The hotel is 10-15mins walk from the subway station, close to restaurants and there is a mall next to the hotel.

Good location, friendly and nice personal, bright and big room, clean. But rooms doesn't have a good isolation, in the morning heart kids from some other room and at night music from somewhere. When checked in room I didn't find a tooth brush and comb, but they were given to us when we just asked.

Room: The bed is relatively soft and very clean. You can tell that it has been tidy at first glance. breakfast: Breakfast is served on the second floor and includes fresh wontons and ramen. There are also all kinds of snacks that I love to eat. Both Chinese and Western dishes are satisfied, with rich varieties and a focus on cleanliness. Location transportation: The location is very good, next to Sunya Ocean World, and the subway station is nearby Overall, it's great. Sitting in the restaurant on the 25th floor, you can have a bird's eye view of the entire Xinghai Bay. Half of Dalian is right in front of you. It's very spectacular!

Pleasant hotel with a good outdoor seating. The bathroom was spacious and shower and toilet are distinctly separated. Breakfast is decent but could be better. They offer meals for lunch and dinner which are fairly priced. The sliders I ordered were only 60-80rmb and they tasted yum! The hotel is nicely located at the beach front and is less crowded during the holiday, but our king sized room was in front of three trees that were blocking the view of the ocean. Other than that it was a cool experience.

This second time staying here, like the first, didn't disappoint. As before, visiting during the off-peak time is ideal for a quiet, uncrowded getaway. The sea-view room is welcoming and comfortable, with a view that is uncluttered and peaceful; opening the patio doors to the sound of waves rolling in equals instant relaxation. Aside from having a super comfortable bed and all the useful amenities one could need, there were simple niceties about the room, like the ability to adjust the temperature and fan speed (which runs quietly without disturbing sleep), ample hot water to fill a soaker tub, and multiple options for adjusting the room lighting. The hotel is immaculately clean, the grounds are meticulously maintained, and access to the beach is just steps away. The breakfast is substantial, with a variety of both Chinese and Western dishes. The staff was friendly and happy to care for our needs, even providing a power converter which I forgot to pack. Those in search of a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of the city can't go wrong by staying here. Highly recommend, and hope to visit again in the future. An overall good hotel though large, meaning some areas were crowded—for example the restaurant at breakfast, or the pool. The rooms were nice if not particularly unique, certainly with the feel of a large big-brand hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. A nice location with good views. Overall a decent place to get away and enjoy Dalian.

My second stay here ! And you’ll probably see me more in the future! It’s my favorite hotel to stay in Dalian ! I highly recommend!! The service is amazing ! The rooms are clean and the interior looks are exquisite and pretty . The view outside is magnificent and I was in awe !! My favorite hotel ! I will come again very soon ~~~~❤️

I had a great stay. I originally booked a room without a window. The front desk knew that I like to drink tea and moved me to a room with a window when I needed some ventilation. I also prepared several bottles of water for me. I was very satisfied with my stay. I also liked the decoration of the room. , there is a feeling of dreaming back to the Tang Dynasty. Recommend everyone to stay here Service: I can’t fault the service. They were very welcoming throughout the process. They helped me move my luggage and change rooms. It was great. Environment: Very close to the Sea of ​​Stars. You can see the sea at night. The lights are also very beautiful. It’s a very good location. Hygiene: I am most satisfied with the hygiene. It is clean and feels like going home. Facilities: Everything is very complete, I basically didn’t use what I brought. I had a lot of luggage when I checked out. The front desk also said that they can help store my luggage. It’s a very good store. I recommend everyone to come here to experience it.

This is an honest review that is not meant to dissuade anyone but to offer a thorough unbiased review. My opinion of New World before my stay was that it was a 5 star hotel, it certainly wasn't horrible, but after my stay and comparing to other Dalian hotels in its league that I've stayed in, think it doesn't fit the bill for a 5 star hotel. I can't complain about the service, Check in was swift and we got a free room upgrade and spa coupons, but the hotel room carpet was stained, there was dust in some places and the furniture and room amenities are aging, slightly dated and need to be improved (I didn't feel the need to zoom in on those issues so the pictures wont reflect this) . I loved that there were lovely art pieces throughtout the hotel and the fitness centre was top notch especially the heated pool. The breakfast buffet had fewer options than expected for a hotel of that standard but it was honestly delicious and satisfactory, they had both Chinese and Western dishes, fruit and cereal. The waitresses from Guo restaurant had the best service they went out of their way to make our dinner pleasant. The most disconcerting issue I had with New World was that the room deposit refund took longer than I've ever experienced, I found it highly unusual and somewhat disappointing because I've stayed in a lot of 5 star hotels and usually the refund is instant but they told us it would take up to 3 days. Maybe this is standard practice for them but it made no sense to me and I've never had to wait that long. In any case surely it doesn't take 3 days to check a room!
