I've stayed at this location multiple times. It is a good location and I enjoy the house band in the pub (located in the basement). The Kempeski is definitely showing its ago, however. The marblework in the bathroom is cracked and some of the flooring is stained. The public bathroom (to the right of the lobby) is in desperate need of a makeover, i.e. recaulk the edges of the lavatory and do a deep steam cleaning of all tile. Breakfast was superb and the wait staff was doing a great job turning tables around for the next customers. I would probably stay again, but only if the prices are reduced.

I can safely say Intercontinental is one of the best hotels in Dalian after having stayed in many Dalian hotels. For starters we got a room upgrade and early check in and late check out. The hotel also gave us complimentary coffee and fruit soon after checking in. The room was clean, comfortable, modern and had a gorgeous city view. The amenities were satisfactory and their Breakfast buffet had a wide range of Western and Chinese cuisine to choose from. Special thanks to Jason from the fitness centre and Winnie and Kevin from the front desk for their excellent service they especially made sure our stay was enjoyable. The only downside is that I think the Chinese restaurant staff could use some training the service there was the least professional but in my opinion it didn't takeaway from the overall experience.

Hotel Nikko is a throwback to the 1990's. It is well maintained and very comfortable hotel. In fact, I moved from another 5 star hotel to this one mid weekend. The decor is a little dated, BUT of the 3 hotels in downtown Dalian that I have used over this last year I think Nikko is my favorite. Their service is excellent. The food is good. (Breakfast is great and the Japanese restaurant is good) The atmosphere of the hotel is very nice and upscale. I like that there is a Lawson's near the lobby, in the adjoining office/apartment building. When I called to request they lower the temperature in my room, they said they could not adjust the thermostat; however, they did offer me a fan. Within 5 minutes housekeeping brought a very nice standing fan which worked great. My next trip downtown I think I'll start with Hotel Nikko.

In an apartment building (No. 8 Qingniwa), the 11th to 18th floors are the hotel area, which is very close to the train station, shopping malls, and subways. There is Lawson and snack street downstairs, and New Mart and Centennial City are across the road. Business travel self-service welcome afternoon tea: This service is not bad, with fruits, snacks and drinks. The breakfast is standard, and there is really nothing to eat when you go late. The room is quite spacious, and the TV is really speechless. It is embarrassing to call it Internet TV. There are four central channels in total, 1, 3, 5, and 6, and they are all snowflakes, which is better than nothing. The robot delivery is OK, there is wind in the room window, and it will be a bit cold without air conditioning. The bathroom is slightly cramped compared to the room. Except for the cafe on the 11th floor of the restaurant, it is really hard to tell that it is a relatively new serviced apartment in the room alone.

The location of the hotel has a great advantage. It is very close to Dalian Railway Station. It is only a few steps away. The transportation is convenient. There are buses and light rails. It is not far from anywhere. The hotel upgrades the room for free and adds a breakfast for free. Ordering food is also delivered to the room by an intelligent robot. The staff are of high quality and very polite. Next time I go to Dalian, I will choose Zhongshan Hotel

Check-in was excellent, the reception gave me a higher floor as per my request and let me know in advance it would be a corner room in the 8th floor. Room is very clean with almost no smell except for cleaning vinegar smell in the bathroom. It's side by side with the sister hotel and the street is very near the friendship Plaza (roundabout) and the metro. The only issue is crossing the road to get to the metro is via an underpass. Safe for lady travelers. There's many eateries and food streets around. The famous 松云居 is maybe 8 min walk away.

The accommodation experience is quite good! Location: Very close to Dalian Station! I went to several places this holiday. This is the closest to the station! This hotel was in a great location as next to railway and metro station. Unfortunately the power was cut off for the entire block. It was fortunate that the hotel was able to refund part of the stay. I had to checkout when the power was cut off again the following night. This isn’t the fault of the hotel but they tried their best in a bad situation. When I checked in they brought tray of snacks and a letter explaining how they were sorry they could not speak English. This was a nice touch and I commend the front staff for their sincerity. The only reason I took off a star was that the hallway carpet was in an old state and could use an overhaul. Other than that great staff and hotel.

Now I stayed in other hotels for one night, and I was not satisfied in all aspects, and then I checked out decisively and chose this Hilton. The location of the hotel is in the city center, it is convenient to go anywhere. The room is full of floor-to-ceiling windows, with a very good view and lighting. The facilities in the house are relatively modern and user-friendly, and the sanitation is also good. It is very comfortable to live in. The hotel service staff is considerate, meticulous, patient and organized, and there will be someone in front of the door to help open the door and take luggage. The breakfast is rich in varieties, both Chinese and Western food, and the taste is not bad. Choosing this Hilton for this trip was very successful, and I will stay here again in the future!

The hotel was nice and in a great location. The room had modern furniture, no carpets that can get dirty easily and overall a nice layout with enough space for two persons. Room incl bathroom was very clean. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t say anything about it. Staff doesn’t speak English, so might be difficult if you don’t speak any Chinese at all.
