A 10 minute taxi from the old town. Great service and a wide selection of food for breakfast and dinner. Buffet style with lots of options for Chinese or plenty of Western options too. Reasonably priced and great views of the lake. After a day walking around the old town or hiking on the mountain it was nice to return to the peace and quiet of this hotel.

Excellent location, big rooms, very clean. The best part of the hotel is the location inside the Dali Ancient Town, just 5 minutes away from the entrance to the old town. This is convenient if you are renting a car or taking cabs to get around Dali, as cars are not allowed inside the ancient town most of the time. The hotel has great views of the mountain and has a very modern look and feel. Overall great experience! Highly recommend!

Facilities: The room is well-equipped, easy to use, and very new. Hygiene: Very clean and tidy, the room smells good. Environment: Ten minutes' drive from the airport, very convenient transportation; 5 minutes' walk to Erhai Lake, you can see Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake from the sea view room. Very comfortable to live in. Service: The service is very good, the housekeeper is very enthusiastic, contacted us in advance, and gave us koala souvenirs, tie-dyed bags and plums when we checked in. The room comes with welcome fruit, sweet soup and milk. We were also asked if we needed a room upgrade. Breakfast is on the second floor, rich in variety and delicious. You can see the sea view from Yueyunhui on the top floor, 33 floors! It's especially nice to take pictures. There is an open-air restaurant and bar on the 5th floor, where you can watch open-air movies, and various SPAs and gyms on the underground first floor. The check-in experience is very good, and I will stay there next time.

A very thoughtful hotel. Mom and I had a great relaxing stay at this hotel. The employees are all very thoughtful. When we head out we would ask for a bottle of water but the sweet girls will always ask if we need more because they see it’s the two of us. The sea view rooms have views of Erhai at a distance but we still enjoyed watching the clouds dance through the sky with the lake and mountains. The rooms are big and clean too. Highly recommend this hotel for people wanting to stay near Dali’s ancient town.

When checking in on the first day, the two waitresses at the front desk seemed to have not received their salary for several months. They looked ugly and did not smile or greet each other. The guy who took the luggage was very enthusiastic. I saw a comment that when checking in at night, I turned around and fell into the small landscape lake in front of the front desk. In fact, I almost fell in. This design is very **. The room is on the upper and lower floors, and the stairs are a bit steep. It is not recommended for elderly people to stay. The lighting in the room is a bit dim. The location of the hotel is good, just next to the ancient city, but the hotel is too cost-effective and not worth it.

This hotel is awesome. We had the superior king room which is modern and spacious and it features a bathtub and a Japanese style toilet. The breakfast was delicious. The hosts are very friendly and helped us with everything we needed. They also speak a bit english. We got free entry to the three pagodas which was nice. Thank you!

The teacher was very professional, and explained in detail from the origin and types of tea to every step and technique of making tea. Under the patient guidance of the teacher, we tried to make tea by ourselves, watching the tea leaves stretch, sink and float in the water, and finally exuding a refreshing fragrance. It was really a wonderful experience. Through this class, I not only had a deeper understanding of the tea ceremony culture, but also felt the beauty brought by the concentration and tranquility, and felt that the whole person became more peaceful and calm. The steaming hot pot was served on the table, and the rich and diverse wild mushrooms were presented in front of me, which made people salivate just by looking at it. The taste is extremely fresh and tender, and every bite carries the fresh breath of the mountains and forests. The soup base is rich and mellow, perfectly blended with wild mushrooms, and with some tender beef, vegetables, etc., it is even more delicious. The corridor is very spacious and there is a place to sit, but people who are afraid of heights are not recommended to look down. In the room, I feel just right, I sleep very comfortable, and the lighting design is very warm.
