GGuest UserThe 'Chaoyun' room at this Dali hotel truly holds a wonderful surprise! As you open the window, to your left lie the lush green Cangshan Mountains, and to your right, the misty Erhai Lake – your eyes are instantly treated to a natural masterpiece.
Whatever you do, don't oversleep in the morning. Just as dawn breaks, a thin mist drifts gracefully over Erhai Lake, like wisps of cloud spread gently across the water, slowly moving with the breeze. Distant fishing boats appear hazy, and the occasional cry of a seagull only adds to the profound stillness. Once the sun rises and the mist dissipates, Erhai Lake becomes crystal clear, its surface shimmering. The trees along the shore and the distant mountains are perfectly mirrored in the water, and the air carries a hint of moist sweetness.
In the evening, it's Cangshan's turn to captivate. The sunset paints the clouds in glorious hues of golden-red, rosy orange, and soft purple, unfolding in layers across the sky. The mountain peaks are crowned with a golden rim, and even the green of the mountainside softens. As the twilight glow descends, the surface of Erhai Lake also takes on color. Mountain shadows, cloud reflections, and the play of light dance together on the water. Occasionally, a returning pleasure boat creates ripples, bringing the scene vividly to life.
Staying in this room, you don't need to hunt for the perfect angle. Whether you're sipping tea by the window or simply relaxing in bed, all you have to do is look up, and you're greeted by a constantly changing painting, revealing new perspectives from dawn till dusk.
