I hurriedly came to Dali with my family to stay for one night. I originally booked another hotel online, but the pictures did not match the actual hotel and it was not near the sea. The most feared thing when booking a hotel is ”photo fraud”. I booked this hotel on the spur of the moment and made the decision after actually viewing the room. The location of the hotel is very good, the rooms are very large and very photogenic. The most important thing is that the proprietress, Sister Ai, is very enthusiastic and makes us feel that this is a warm homestay. Since we only had one day to visit Dali, Sister Ai recommended the best travel guide and rented a car for us, making this trip a perfect experience! Next time I come to Dali, I will stay here again!

I've stayed in countless B&Bs, but this one is truly unforgettable. The moment I opened the room door, I was absolutely blown away – huge smart floor-to-ceiling windows, a bright and spotless interior. From the rooftop terrace, you could see the glistening surface of Erhai Lake and the distant Cangshan Mountain, like a flowing painting. The room was fully equipped with smart features and thoughtfully decorated. Waking up to sunlight and birdsong in the morning – this experience was truly therapeutic. The owner and his mother were incredibly warm and welcoming. Upon check-in, they even offered us homemade 'bingfen' (a local jelly dessert). Breakfast was delicious local specialty rice noodles, made with generous, authentic ingredients. They also thoughtfully recommended off-the-beaten-path routes and knew exactly where to find the most authentic Bai cuisine – more practical than any guidebook! Sitting on the terrace in the evening, watching the sunset paint Erhai Lake golden-red, with distant fishing boats slowly gliding across the water – this laid-back vibe is something you'd never experience in the city. If I ever return to Dali, I would definitely stay here again – not because of its luxury, but because here, you genuinely get to experience what it means to 'live a poetic life.'

After spending three days here, I can't recommend Sanjian enough. I absolutely won't regret choosing this place. The room was incredibly clean, with flowers and plants everywhere. The amenities were top-notch, with Toto bathroom fixtures, a Dyson hair dryer, and Acqua toiletries. The custom-made coral fleece bath towels and hand towels were takeaways, and the brand-new slippers were also very comfortable and great quality. The mattress was incredibly comfortable, and the sheets and duvet covers were spotless. The entire room was smart, and every detail was meticulously thought out. I'm a demanding person, but I couldn't find any faults! We were fed daily, had a hearty breakfast, and enjoyed a variety of afternoon tea and evening sweet soups. The refrigerator was stocked with various drinks, all free of charge! The room had a stunning view, directly facing Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake. The scenery outside the window changed dramatically depending on the weather and time of day, and you could directly see the scenery. Then, just lie in bed and watch the sunset—no need to bother with all those photo ops! The service is incredibly attentive. The hostess is beautiful, welcoming, and hands-on. The staff are incredibly customer-focused. They'll ask you every day what you want for breakfast and drinks, whether you want afternoon tea delivered to your room and at what time, and if you'd like sweet soup for dinner and how many servings you'd like. Airport transfers are also included! The rooftop is stunning; any photo you take is a masterpiece! My experience at Sanjian far surpassed that of a five-star hotel. The butler service at Sanjian surpasses even that of five- and six-star islands in the Maldives. The owner's exquisite taste is evident throughout the hotel and the rooms. I highly recommend choosing this place when visiting Dali!

One if the best hotels we have ever stayed at. Everything was top notch, service extremely kind, all options included (transfer, photos, afternoon tea, gifts). The view from the room is absolutely breathtaking, breakfast was the beat we had in china so far. I wish i would have booked more days at this hotel.

This isn't my first time staying here; ever since my initial visit, it's become my go-to hotel whenever I'm in Dali. I arrived by car, and it's no exaggeration to say that the moment my vehicle pulled up and the staff came out to greet me, I felt a genuine sense of returning home. Every time I step into the room, all my worries simply melt away. And the hotel's unparalleled lake views are truly unique! Absolutely fantastic value for money!

The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and I absolutely loved my stay here. The sea view, in particular, was absolutely breathtaking! I highly recommend trying the Yunnan rice noodles the host prepares – they were truly delicious and so memorable! Can't wait to come back again!

I honestly can't think of a word other than 'perfect'. The only minor drawback is that it's a bit pricey, but it's undoubtedly worth every single penny! Ladies, just book it!

I really like this B&B! I picked several and finally settled on this one, which is very cost-effective! It's in a villa area, it's easy to find, and there's a lot of food around! The store aunt is very, very nice! ! Because I was a bit high, my aunt helped us carry the super heavy box up. The room was very clean and comfortable, the toilet was automatic, and you could see Erhai Lake outside the window! Auntie cooked breakfast for us! It's hot rice noodles, eggs and corn, and I feel warm after eating it! ! I really, really like it! That’s right! And a projector! (Although it’s useless to just go to bed if you’re too tired)

For someone like me who is a bit of a clean freak, I really think it's super super clean!!! The sheets and quilt covers are visibly dry and clean. There are washing machine detergent and even fragrance beads, and they are not fake brands! The landlord is a local and very nice. The public areas are spotlessly clean, and the layout and design make people feel very comfortable! Anyway, if anyone can see this review of mine, don't hesitate, book her place!
