Overall it’s a good experiences, Guest Relations team proactively recovered my bad experiences when we had the breakfast and extend the check out till 2pm with some amenities and fruits delivery. Buffet restaurant definitely need more trainings about how to bring more efficient during the peak hours but service staff attitude are very positive. Breakfast food is ok. Facilities are quite new and well maintained - reception helped to upgrade my rooms as we traveled together and arrange properly. Except the elevator which is quite odd that you have to take excessive steps to lobby. Location is good near the bottom of the ErHai having a great seat view but if you want to go to the ancient city or some ancient towns to the west of the sea you’d better have a car or you have drivers.

Our experience at Pullman Dali was a mix of highs and lows, with some exceptional staff and several areas that fell short of expectations for an Accor hotel. The Good: We were fortunate to receive excellent service from Ms. Eleven and Mr. Herman, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Their kindness and attentiveness, especially when our child fell sick during the stay, were truly commendable. They provided all the assistance we needed, making a challenging situation much more manageable. Additionally, the café staff member, Mona, stood out for her patience and friendly attitude. The Not-So-Good: Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet the standards we expect from an Accor hotel. Communication was a significant challenge, as many of the local staff struggled with English, making it difficult to get basic information or assistance. The hotel seems to cater primarily to local Chinese guests, which greatly influenced the atmosphere. The breakfast area was chaotic and crowded, and the variety and taste of the food left much to be desired. While Mona was polite and helpful, other staff displayed a dismissive and arrogant attitude. For instance, when we inquired about some of the local breakfast items, the response was abrupt and unwelcoming, as if they didn’t care whether we ate or not. Additionally, breakfast ended strictly at 10:30 AM. While I was still taking food from the buffet, the staff turned off the lights and removed the trays right in front of me without any warning. It felt extremely inconsiderate and left a poor impression. Other Observations: The location of the hotel is convenient, and the rooms are decent. However, the overall experience may be more suited to local Chinese guests rather than international travelers expecting global standards of service and hospitality. Final Thoughts: While there were shining moments thanks to a few outstanding staff members, the overall experience at Pullman Dali did not live up to the reputation of the Accor brand. If you are an international guest seeking a more service-oriented stay, you might want to consider other options.

Very good location 5 minutes walk to main area. Very good service by housekeeper xiao hao. Hotel is comfortable and clean. Breakfast, tea time and night dessert is great. Very easy accessible. We enjoyed our time here. They have transport service to pick you up at the main road and also sending you to nearby places. Highly recommended.

This hostel location is in old town but not noisy, convenient for shopping, dining and cafe. Beautiful and comfortable space, just too hot at daytime if u stay in the room, even though u turned on all the air conditioning.

A 10 minute taxi from the old town. Great service and a wide selection of food for breakfast and dinner. Buffet style with lots of options for Chinese or plenty of Western options too. Reasonably priced and great views of the lake. After a day walking around the old town or hiking on the mountain it was nice to return to the peace and quiet of this hotel.

Excellent location, big rooms, very clean. The best part of the hotel is the location inside the Dali Ancient Town, just 5 minutes away from the entrance to the old town. This is convenient if you are renting a car or taking cabs to get around Dali, as cars are not allowed inside the ancient town most of the time. The hotel has great views of the mountain and has a very modern look and feel. Overall great experience! Highly recommend!

The waterfront B&B is very quiet. The facilities and butler service are worth more than five stars. Breakfast, afternoon tea, midnight snacks, and luggage pick-up by the butler. The open-air landscape public area is relatively large in the ancient town. There is a small garden and an open-air restaurant in the open air, both of which are suitable for taking pictures. There are only two water swings, and this is one of them. The Santorini style, the view in the room is great, unobstructed, and you can see the sunrise and sunset of Erhai Lake in the room in the morning and evening.

This time, I took my family (two people) to travel in Yunnan for 6 days and 5 nights by car. I didn't skimp on the budget when choosing. I hope to live in a hotel with elegant internal environment/beautiful scenery, safe and noisy surroundings, and this hotel basically meets my accommodation requirements. Service: I have experienced first-line hotels such as Ritz, Andaz, Waldorf, Banyan Tree, etc. After seeing and hearing, I still have strict requirements for the service standards of this price. The service of staying here for 2 days and 1 night still meets my expectations. No matter when and where I am in the store, the service staff I met are very warm, polite and considerate. The day before check-in, the butler will take the initiative to contact and provide a lot of useful travel information. Shortly after arriving, we contacted the housekeeper and a guy came to the parking lot to pick us up and delivered our luggage directly to the room. When checking in, we will take the initiative to introduce the hotel facilities and politely offer welcome drinks soon after we enter the room. Although the hotel is located in a remote area and vehicles cannot reach it directly, we can ask the front desk for pick-up at any time, and they can arrange a shuttle bus to pick us up immediately. In addition, there are two things that exceeded my expectations in terms of service: First, when I just checked in, when I was taking pictures at the door of the guest room and didn't notice the service staff delivering welcome drinks behind me, she chose to wait patiently and quietly outside the door, and didn't make a sound to disturb me until I turned around and found that she entered the room and delivered the drink in her hand. Second, when we left the room in the afternoon, we didn't take the initiative to tell them to prepare the night bed, but when we returned to the room at night, we found that the night bed had been made in the room. The warm temperature and soothing music in the room instantly reduced our fatigue. Facilities: The room facilities are not inferior to the five-star hotels on Ctrip in Lijiang and Dali. The electric blower is Dyson, and the air conditioning and heating in the room are sufficient and run without noise. However, there are still some omissions in the details. I hope the hotel can think about it after seeing it: First, there is a broken glass in the sea view room that has not been repaired yet, and there are still concerns about safety. Second, the air outlet of the air conditioner is facing the head of the bed. It feels too dry and uncomfortable to blow the nose and throat when lying on the bed. I hope to adjust the direction of the air outlet after trying to sleep. Third, I hope to be equipped with a disposable toilet seat cover. Although most hotels do not have it, this rigid demand may add a lot of points to the hotel. Hygiene: The first impression is clean, but there is a lot of dust on the table in the room. It is obvious when the light on the bedside table is on. Please continue to improve the cleaning of the table. Catering: The hotel only provides breakfast, but the quality of the food is high. It is a model of doing fine instead of doing more. When I wrote this review, I had already stayed in InterContinental Hotel, Banyan Tree, and Clubmed in Lijiang. Now, if I evaluate it, the breakfast of this hotel is much better than the first two hotels. To take the main course and side dishes as examples, the beef brisket rice noodles are both good, but the beef brisket here is not too dry and the soup is not too greasy. The side dishes are both porridge, but the products here are more exquisite and beautiful, with a sweet and sour taste, which makes the appetite much better. In summary, I personally yearn to travel to places without commercialization, and Dali is no longer a destination I would choose. But if my family decides to travel to Dali again in the future, I will still choose this hotel. I also hope that more people will find such quality hotels and continue to stay.

I like the hotel very much. It is in a great location just a few minutes' walk from Dali Ancient Town. There is a dedicated parking garage for parking, and the price of the rooms has not been adjusted randomly because of the Spring Festival. The bedding was comfortable, and we were given a room upgrade. The hotel's greenery was great, and welcome fruits were placed... The best thing was that the lobby staff were of high quality, and the service with a smile was very attentive. I suddenly felt like I was on vacation. The breakfast buffet is rich and diverse, and the software and hardware are worthy of being one of the top ten luxury hotels in Dali City! Will go next time!

We stayed at this hotel for a night during our trip to Dali. The hotel was new and very instagrammable. We were checked in to a room with no view despite paying for a sea-view room, but this was resolved by the staff by offering us an available sea-view room. The hotel staff were extremely attentive. Kudos to 小俊, our personal butler, who provided a lot of information over WeChat and was very prompt with his responses. They provided a variety of snacks, fruits and drinks and even a bowl of “goodnight sweet soup” each at night. Breakfast was mainly Chinese but was delicious! The room was large and clean and offered a good view of Erhai. Room amenities were well-stocked and room facilities were top notch - the room was equipped with smart home technology and there was also a projector for home entertainment. The only downside to this hotel is its location (Wenbi Village), which is far away from the main sightseeing spot in Erhai (S湾) and from the train station. The village is, however, tranquil and peaceful. Great stay overall!
