Cloud House Hotel is hands down the best lakeside stay we've ever experienced! From the moment we arrived, the service was beyond 5 stars — the staff were incredibly helpful, attentive, and genuinely caring. They even came to pick us up and carried our bags, which was such a thoughtful touch.
When we wanted to explore the lake on an e-bike, they not only showed us where to rent one but also helped communicate with the rental shop. Truly above and beyond! In the evenings, they served delicious snacks and even prepared a comforting midnight soup — it felt like home.
One of the most memorable moments was when I requested a piece of cake for my kid’s birthday. The next morning at breakfast, they surprised us with a beautifully decorated plate and a complimentary slice of cake. My child was overjoyed and said it was the best birthday ever! The cake was not only thoughtful but also absolutely delicious.
We were also lucky to be upgraded to a room with the best view — waking up to the stunning lake and mountain scenery was magical. The bathroom was modern, clean, and very comfortable.
To top it all off, the whole hotel is beautifully designed and incredibly Instagrammable. There's even a super cute cat that made our stay feel even more homely and warm. Halal food is conveniently located just about 100 meters away, which was a huge plus for us.
We absolutely loved everything about Cloud House and would come back in a heartbeat. Highly, highly recommended!

The hotel does look exactly what you see in the pictures. One of the best view you can ever expect in the area. If you are visiting the area, chilling in the hotel doing nothing is the best option. The view in the hotel is out of this world

Hotel staff were very friendly and go all the way to assist me with my luggages, transportation arrangements,etc.
The hotel ambience was very nice and romantic with the hotel located by the Erhai lake. Enjoyed the tranquility of the place.

This is probably one of the best hotels my family and I have stayed in. Not only was the location amazing (the hotel overlooks the Erhai and Cangshan, making breakfasts and any meals eaten extremely picturesque and peaceful) but the staff was incredibly kind, doing everything they could to ensure we were comfortable with our stay. On the day of our arrival, a staff came to pick us up from the taxi and carried our luggage to the hotel, making sure we wouldn't get lost. On our last day, another staff member took us to the bus station, carrying our bags and waiting until the bus came to pick us up. The hotel is located just off the main street, still next to the main shopping area, but allowing for a more quiet and peaceful environment. Everything about this hotel is beautiful, from the furniture to the rooms to the plants. We would highly recommend coming to this hotel, and we will definitely be staying here again. Thank you so much for making our trip so wonderful and welcoming, Cloud House! Appreciate you!!!

It was such a pleasant experience at Cloud House! The staff are very friendly, helpful and polite. They always put up a big smiling face and patiently address all your inquiries. They are very attentive👍🏼
The location was amazing. It is right next to the Erhai Lake. If you love the sea/lake vibe, this is your choice. If you wanna take some nice photos, and here is your choice.

After comparing many sea-view homestays in Shuanglang, I finally chose Yunli. Overall, it exceeded my original expectations and I was super satisfied!
First of all, the location of the homestay is really by the sea, close to the main street of Shuanglang, not far from one of the exits of Shuanglang, and convenient for taxis.
Secondly, the environment and scenery of the hotel are really great, the room is large, the decoration style is also very beautiful, there is afternoon tea, the public area on the first floor is very good, there is a swing by the sea, and there is a terrace. There is also a mandala full of flowers at the door, which is super beautiful. We arrived in the afternoon and saw the beautiful sunset of Erhai Lake.
Before leaving, I tried their food and beverage, which tasted very good. The atmosphere of eating and taking pictures on the terrace by the sea is superb, and the mood of looking at Erhai Lake is also super good.
Finally, I want to praise their service. The housekeeper and other people in the store are very enthusiastic and considerate. They helped to upgrade the sea view room for free and helped to get the luggage at the entrance and exit of the scenic area. We went out and came back very late that day, and they also sent midnight snacks at almost 12 o'clock in the middle of the night. They were also very enthusiastic to greet them, and the service details were also done very well.
