Room service is good, but the breakfast service does not meet the standards expected of a 5-star hotel at all. When having breakfast, you can hear waitresses talking very loudly and the waitresses walk as if they're wearing slippers. Even more absurdly, they're sweeping the floor while guests are having breakfast.

Lovely room with a great view of Erhai Lake. Although staff did not speak English they were extremely helpful, in particular on our last day when there were no available taxis to take us to the train station the hotel manager took us.

I was very impressed with Dali International Hotel. The hotel facilities, decor, service and Rooms were exceptional. I was especially impressed with the rooms. We book a room facing the Erhai Lake and with a balcony. The room was spacious, very modern and impeccably clean. The only negative I would say is that the a la carte menu for the western restaurant is very limited. I hope this can be improved. Also the changing rooms at the swimming pools was not very clean.
Overall it was a Magnificent Stay at Dali International Hotel and This would be my first choice hotel anytime that I come to Dali.

Thank you very much for the wonderful experience. The hotel is located right next to the ErHai lake. The fresh air blowing to the hotel is fresh and perfect. The hotel room is spacious and clean. The bathroom is also very spacious and clean. Equipped with everything you need. The breakfast is delicious. The dinner buffet is also delicious with many options. You can also go exploring around the hotel. Thank you again for the hospitality. See you next time.

Location of the hotel is good if you want to be close to the new Dali prefecture government offices, although not convenient for wandering around by walk (not much to do around the hotel). This is counterbalanced by the room’s view though: sweeping views of Erhai lake in all its beauty! The property is well maintained, with very high clean standards, and all the personnel is extremely attentive and thoughtful.
Special mention to Bella from the front desk, who went way beyond her duty to make me feel welcomed and to support on my requests. Buffet breakfast is ok.

After returning to the city from Dali Ancient Town, I wanted to stay in a room with a sea view, so I chose the old five-star hotel Dali International. Overall, it was quite satisfactory, and there was nothing to complain about the facilities, services, environment, and location. This price and this level of room did not include breakfast, and the front desk staff had no authority to say 1️⃣, which was regrettable. During my week in Yunnan, all the five-star hotel suites I stayed in did not include breakfast or provided it for free.
