I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL, for these reasons: 1). It is 1 hour 30 mins from Dali Old Town where all the fun things to do are 2). The service was really bad (it took about an hour to check-in as they weren’t used to checking in foreigners) and when we were out they said they couldn’t clean our room as they didn’t have a spare key 3). There was a GHEKO living in my room 4). The swimming pool was dirty, a health hazard and unfit to swim in 5). My room was damp and the paint was falling off the walls 6). The breakfast was a Chinese set meal, with no choice and no western options. There was no coffee…only instant sachets. However, the staff themselves were really lovely and kind but the hotel itself was not up to standard. I think this place has a lot of potential but improvements need to be made. I rarely leave negative reviews but I felt I needed to this time so that others don’t face the same experience as me and my friend did.

Location is by the roadside on the east side of the lake. It’s convenient but it’s far from downtown (45mins drive) as that is in the west side of the lake. The staff are helpful and try to help however they can. They don’t speak English but wechat and translator help (manage expectations). The rooms are clean. Breakfast is basic Chinese. There’s a pool for kids (not deep enough) and a lounge area with a view. If you like a quite place away from the city, then this is a good place to stay. But if you want convenience, be aware that didi/taxi is scarce, and attractions are far. There’s a restaurant next door.

Staff is helpful

The view is great, looking out the window, Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain are picturesque. The location is good, the coastal highway to Ideal State in the south and Shuanglang in the north are very close. The breakfast is very exquisite, and the desserts and music bar in the evening are also very pleasant.

I chose this hotel to see the Erhai Lake fishing lanterns. It is an old designer B&B, so it occupies the best location. The public areas are very attentive, and there is a view at every step. It is very good for vacation. It is quiet in the bustling city. Wenbi Village is above, and there are many restaurants on the small road. The breakfast is amazing, and they specially prepared non-spicy rice noodles for my daughter. The service is also very good. I stayed in a twin room at the staircase. The view of this room is worse, and the hardware is a bit old. The price in the off-season is not good.

I found this hotel on the platform and booked it as soon as I saw it. Later, I compared the price of other hotels and found that they were the most cost-effective. I felt it was worth it after staying there. The hotel is just across the sea from Erhai Lake. The main gate is on the main road. The car is parked directly at the door. When I arrived, I contacted the housekeeper sister and brother. They came out very enthusiastically to help us with the luggage and check us in and take us to the room. The hotel is very good, clean and hygienic. The room can see Erhai Lake and it is convenient for travel~ There is coffee ☕️ on the first floor that can be ordered, as well as snacks. The hotel has local specialties, which are very cheap, delicious and not expensive. The dishes are very fresh. I will come again next time. Good reviews! ! !

At night, the brilliant fireworks in Haixi light up the silence, and at dawn, when the sky is white, the end of the world will bloom in front of you in a vast morning. The homestay provides a rich variety of breakfast and evening desserts. The staff is patient and gentle, and they will solve problems with the residents in a timely manner. Among the same price, the facilities, hygiene, environment and service of Manwu are amazing. I hope that choosing to stay here can enhance your trip to Dali

The room is very cozy and clean, with complete facilities and high cost performance. We booked a king-size bed room, with a swimming pool right outside, and it was very pleasant to lie down and enjoy the mountains and sea. The transportation is super convenient, with the road at the door, but the room is really not noisy at all, it is very quiet to sleep at night, and there are birds singing in the morning. Especially when I came out early in the morning, I was moved by the beautiful scenery of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake. More importantly, the brothers and sisters here are great, very thoughtful and considerate, and the meals here are also very good. The family lived very comfortably and happily here, which is a wonderful memory of the trip.

The location is far from the ancient city area and Xizhou, so it is best to drive a car. It is also convenient to rent a car next to the car rental agency.

The B&B is built on the hillside, with an elevator, which is very convenient. You don't have to carry your luggage up the stairs. There is a cafe downstairs, which is delicious. There are hamburgers, hot dogs, cakes and some snacks, and there are singers singing. The B&B also has local specialties and barbecue, so you don't have to worry about food and drink. It focuses on a combination of Chinese and Western, hahahaha... The B&B is right on Huanhai Road, with convenient transportation. The taxi at the door is super fast. The front desk lady is very enthusiastic and sent us Tremella soup in the evening. It's really considerate. The view from the room is also invincible. It's very nice to take pictures. There is also a very characteristic big tree. It's a very comfortable hotel. I will recommend it to my friends.
