The hotel is located in the center of the Dali ancient town, and within walking distance to all the tourist sights within the pedestrians-only areas.
The disadvantage is that vehicles are not allowed within the wall city from 8am to 8pm, so visitors need to walk a short distance (about 10 minutes) to the hotel from the nearest drop-off point. The hotel does provide pick-up service using tricycle if you make the request early during booking, and also at check-out.
Rooms are quite large, tidy and comfortable. Was given one with good view of the mountains. The restaurant provides tasty local meals but price is quite expensive. There are many restaurants right outside the hotel.

The hotel is strategically located near the Hong Ling Jing gate of Dali Ancient Town and is only 3 mins from the main road for any pickup up or dropoff. Service is excellent and the hotel team is very friendly and helpful especially with booking didi / taxi and providing direction and recommendations to other places of interests and . The room is very clean and the breakfast is very good.
The hotel has live entertainment - good for chilling to end the day.

The hotel is centrally located in Dali Ancient Town itself and is within walking distance to the major ancient town attractions and main streets. Everything about the hotel (entrance, reception, restaurant, rooms, and corridors) felt grand and posh, which isn’t common for a hotel within an ancient town. The rooms are spacious and so lovely (the hotel kindly provided an upgrade). The hotel has a balcony where you get panoramic views of the Dali Ancient Town and surrounding mountains. The service provided by all staff was top-notch, and they really go above and beyond! Special mention to Miss Chen at reception 😊 Don’t forget to contact them in advance as to your arrival time so that they can meet you at an agreed pick up point to assist with your luggage (instead of dragging and damaging your luggage through the cobbled streets of the ancient town).

Very very beautiful hotel with fantastic top notch service! Room is very spacious with a balcony.
Location is right in the middle of town with many food choices. Love the hotel and will be back again definitely

the hotel is inside dali ancient town , so if we come here , we must contact the staff first for arrange all baggage to send to our hotel .. the staff was very helpful and upgrade room for me. the atmosphere in the hotel is very comfortable, breakfast were good . very spacious room and clean , have Courtyard. nice and highly recommended .

Situated @ the best strategic location within Dali ancient town, the hotel is famed as one of the best elegant & contemporary hotel nestled within the venue. The staff are awfully friendly & helpful, willing to go an extra mile to create wonder. We had a best time there & will return again soon 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The hotel offers an elegant and serene environment, located just outside the ancient town, ensuring a peaceful stay. Guests can enjoy exclusive butler services, including transfers between the hotel and the outskirts of the ancient town, saving the hassle of carrying luggage through the cobbled streets. The rooms are spotless and well-maintained, and the staff are warm and attentive. The rooftop garden also boasts an excellent view. If you’re planning to explore Dali Old Town, this hotel is highly recommended!

We had a great stay at Honglongjing Hotel in Dali.
The employees were all very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and provide any service necessary.
The room was spacious and beds were comfortable.
Location is also very good in the Ancient Town and it’s convenient to walk around in the evening and enjoy the lively area.
I would choose this hotel again for my next visit to Dali!
